Love the bay city rollers so many happy memories love this song so many happy days with friends miss those days 12th feb2022 listening to the bay city rollers thanks for the memories
Great days and times, nobody who lived through the 70s will ever forget the Rollers and all those songs...Shangalang , Bye Bye Baby etc. RIP Les, gone too soon
Rest well darling Les. I remember all of it, thank you for giving me a love that I still carry today. I'm broken and can't believe it to be honest, but we have the memories and I will ALWAYS Remember xxx
Superb, still don't think youngsters would realise how huge the Rollers and Rollermania was at the time. So pleased to have lived through those times, an ex colleague used to have Les as his next door neighbour in Faversham. RIP Les
Heartbroken - loved the Rollers. Les rest in peace you were the voice of of my teens. Now 60 but your music brings me back to more innocent and more beautiful times.
Remembering this wonderful group. Never given credit for there wonderful songs I love this group brought up with them so sad we lost so many off them rest in peace guys . Thanks U so much guys will always listen too wonderful music I will always be a roller fan 😍😍😍😍👍👍
I was just 10 years old when they came out in the US scene but oh I sure loved them! I loved listening to all their albums! Now I’m 57 - thank the Lord for RU-vid so we can go back in time and visually see these handsome lads again!😁
I was only 7 years old when the BCRs came on the scene big style. I could not boast that I ever went to see them in concert but they're great fun. I well remember their Granada TV show Shang-a-Lang, watching them on Top of the Pops or other TV shows where they were guests, listening to them on Piccadilly 261 Radio. My gran regularly bought comics for my sister and I including Look-In, Jackie etc. whenever she got her pension and her own reading material. Oh, the memories of carefully tearing out the BCR pin-ups or pinging myself opening the staples so as not to rip them; At the local Woolworths, I got a pretty cool BCR T-shirt, long BCR socks with tartan up the sides and pictures of the band in circles in the red tartan trim. I got improvised BCR style trousers with the tartan trim, a scarf and a bag - but no records (I didn't own a record player until my early teens). The youngest daughter of my mum's friend had all their LPs so my sister and I used to go down on the bus to Chorlton with my mum and gran and then straight into the front room we'd go and we'd play the albums so much we must have been able to see right through them! My faves were Eric and Woody xxx
The Rollers at their brightest and best at this great concert, showing all their musical talent and performance know-how. Would love to have been there. I play the whole concert at night sometimes; it's a great cheer-up.
I have always loved The Bay City Rollers ever since 1975 in December when Mom Dad first bought me the album that had Saturday Night on it ! I was going on 20 years old and have loved them ever since even now and I am 65 66 April 22nd 2022 !
Love it when Alan says hello at the beginning to the camera, love and miss you, love. Love the bass in this song, listen you can hear it. He was a fantastic bass player!
I sooo loved the bay city rollers . Used to dance to their songs every Thursday nite must have been twelve or 13yrs. Used to have all the gear , tartan flat cap .white short sleeved shirt with tartan down the sleeves . White half mast white trousers with tartan the sides such good memories and great times. I fancied Eric out of the group. Can't believe the lead singer Les mcowan as past away suddenly saw him on u tube singing with his new group with one band member left woody. His face hadn't changed much he had just put a bit of weight on. I wudnt have guessed he was 65yrs. !!!! I believe he was ready to go on tour . I believe he had been in rehab at one time because he had a drink and drug problem.!!!!! Awhile ago. But they haven't revealed exactly how he died yet !!!!! R I P Les mckwon you and your group made alot of teenage girls sooo happy all over the world !!!! I was one of them !!!! Love yah 0x0x0x0x0x0
true but they were ripped off by tam paton their manager & the record producers etc they never made any money yet they filled every place they played sad outcome for them
Watching the rollers takes me back .. back , back in time to being a kid 8 to 10 years old , I was obsessed and in love with Les , and Eric if truth be known and quite liked Ian when he came along and took a liking to woody later on ha ha I just loved the rollers !! .. Les voice melts me even now at 57 years old and he will always hold a special place deep in my heart , the way he danced around and his bare chest ahhh , Then Eric’s baby blues oh wow the dreamiest guy ever .. but back in time to singing and dance routines in the lounge with my best friend Elaine and us both yearning to meet the rollers but we never did . Mum said too young to go see a live band , I remember my heart actually hurting I felt like a teenager in love at 8/9 years old . Happy memories and I wish I had a Time Machine to go back to the mid 70,s again and get those feelings again of innocent love and carefree days , I haven’t seen my dear best friend from childhood either for around well over 40 years as she got into religion but extreme and I heard she changed beyond recognition and is a different person and is reclusive . Dear Les if you are up there in spirit I want to say thank you , Thank you for being my first love even though you didn’t know it and I wish I had got to see you perform now it’s too late , Les , Alan & Ian rest in perfect peace and thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my childhood magical , with love your biggest fan Jane , Sha la la la la la la la shooby do I aye , wonder why we ever had to say goodbye … xxx 💔
40 yrs ago i was a 10 yr old kid and these guys were the biggest thing in the world to me. And to this day I've not heard music as catchy as what they did. Back then seeing those girls screaming made me wish i could be a teen idol. Looked like a pretty good job. But my lack of musical abilities and the fact i was a homely kid kinda killed that dream. Rollermania faded out after a year or so for me but i still enjoy their music to this day. Thank you for posting all these great videos!
Will the BCR ever be forgotten. I don’t think so, not like these easy come easy go boy bands of today. Loved Eric and Ian and still do. Thanks for the memories
Barbara Haugen hi I saw them in Birmingham a few years ago last year! Whilst it's true they don't look like this any more who dies the songs were fantastic if u get the chance and there still going see them live it brings back memories and the screaming
Yes, the years of my youth, oh how I remember, I have loved these guys since I was 11, especially Eric. I have to Thank You so very much jannylovesbcr, you have made my dark days a lot brighter since I found your BCR videos online. Forever a fan of BCR and you as well. Thank you and God bless.

I agree Debbie. Patton was a B. I too hope the their stole money is recovered. I am pleased that Les is busy with his band and put the past behind him. They are all fine young men. They helped me get through a terrible time, jr high. I'll always love them.
Yikes! Sooooo much energy here! U can tell they r really having a lot of fun, along w/the crowd. Look out Woody!, here comes another scarf! Lol, he was being pummeled. If that one group of girls could only reach 2 more feet...haha, i believe they'd shread that lovely man! Really good video. Thank u!!!
