Loved the Rollers still do. Woody was and still is my fav .Saw them 6 times .know they all had some terrible times .Much love from me and all the other fans xxxx😁
I too really appreciate you sharing them. They have genuinely got me through a tough time healthwise. Thank you also for explaining where you found them. I wondered too. I would be surprised if the Rollers themselves had such a great collection. Thank you so much.
Perfect practical attire for farming - tight white trousers. And summertime sensation in the middle of a soaking wet Scottish winter. Lovely dog though!
I still remember that I was watching this show in Japan more than 40 years ago. We didn't have any modern video system to record the programme at that time, so my father was filming this very last song by his 8mm video gadget for me. It's such a nice memory. Thank you, Janny💗ありがと💗Je vous remercie💗
I have such fond memories of the Bay City Rollers. Going to the airport and screaming my head off, going to City Hall when then came to Toronto and their concert. Buying albums, posters, buttons and years and years of 16 magazine, Tiger Beat and any else they were in. My wallpaper in my bedroom was Bay City Rollers posters and pictures. My mom was a seamstress and she made me 2 identical outfits that Eric wore,(and a few others). I wore them a lot! They were a big part of childhood. Thank you for the great videos you make. All these years later and my heart still smiles when I see them. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hello from Japan. Thanks Jenny! I have heard that their house was on fire. I am not sure, because I heard it many many years ago. I miss those years very much.
@@jannylovesbcr Oh, so sad story to hear it. I remember two or more video recorded at their house. Christmas version(Lovely to See You). Woody dozed off while the boys enjoy horse riding. Bringing Back the Good Times, please!
@@jannylovesbcr I didn't know that fans (really?) set the farm house on fire?! That is unacceptable -- what kind of deranged riff-raff willingly torches somebody's property?
What a precious video -- well done, Janny! I noticed the guys wore Wellies (except Woody), and those boots surely kept the muck off their trousers. Any wonder how many re-shoots had to be done for this video....I wonder if there's "blooper" cuts. The lads seemed to genuinely enjoy themselves -- especially dear Les, who ran thru the mud like a youngster! Thanks for providing wonderful times, Janny. :-D - Grace
@@jannylovesbcr I think if you watch this clip shown on the Shang-a-Lang show, Alan says it is a farm at Alderley Edge in Cheshire, England, and they had great chocolate cake there! I'm not sure which number show it was, but I think it was one of the early ones, maybe 3 or 5 (?)
I was just watching the Shang a Lang series and this came up 😍 Thanks for this Janny, now I can save it to my playlist. RIP Les 20.04.2021 😥💔 PS who is it that features/hugs at the end of so many of your wonderful uploads? 🤔
Hello, I have a question, what version of Dedication is on the BCR greatest hits LP? Is it the Les or Ian version? I figured you'd know if anyone. Thanks
The Greatest Hits albums I have don't have Dedication on them. I think that Ian is only on the original Dedication album as once he left Les recorded over Ian's voice. (I am NO authority on BCR... 😃 I just kinda/sorta LOVE their music. )
They should've made this video on the beach with cute girls that would've been more fitting than the barn scene. Still this is my favorite song from BCR!
@@jannylovesbcr no its not actually I wanted to see if anyone knew its actually filmed at my grandads farm 😅 a while ago we still have the tractor to this day
@@jpfarming.5077 That is awesome to know!! It goes to show once again that.........you can't believe what you read!! This is especially true about BCR!! 😏
