@@shaneverespy5391 the thing is, of course winning the CL instead of the UEL would be more impressive, but going loseless on a team that didn't qualify for the CL last season is also wild (although who knows if this would've been the case with the pressure of CL games). Just cool to think about and still a wild wild feat. Really hope they can do it.
Because the commentator already knew it was going to happen. Can't get really excited on something if you already know it's going to happen. Still great for them, but I can't blame the commentator either for being that way when it's bound for Leverkusen to draw/win in the 90th+ min
Leverkusen's 49th unbeaten match (August 12, 2023-) surpassing Portuguese club Benfica’s mark of 48 consecutive games without losing from December 1963 to February 1965
Bro r u dum?,their star player Dybala was missing,he literally would’ve carried Roma once again like last year and leverkusen got lucky, the 3rd goal was the goalies fault and the last one was bc everyone was up,u dum 😂😂😂
@@ItzSithsame thing happened to bayern, goalies fault and madrid scored an equalizer. Mistakes happen all the time in football it’s part of the game. Except for the referee mistakes, those were bullshit.
Imagine getting an undefeated Leverkusen against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup! Which is in Warsaw with Legia’s Ultras!!! Now that…that would be a Super Cup to watch!!!
Both penalties were uncertain. First one: slight push and artistic landing. Second one: the player was protecting his face. In both cases it did not affect the plays. Other referees would not give these penalties.
Finally Azmoun got to play & he did a great job !! Keep him playing & he'll be one of the best you've ever had !! Great Job Sardar Azmoun!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️👍🍾🥂🍾
The fact that Leverkusen is not only undefeated, but they are playing amazing Football it’s beyond impressive. Xavi Alonso, I’m certain all major league clubs have you on their watch list, including many of Leverkusen’s players. I’m certain I’m not the only one who wants to see you win everything this season as an undefeated team. I’ll be rooting for you in the Final!!! VIVA EL FÚTBOL!!!!!
I really hope this leverkusen team stays together and becomes a top club. Everyone’s first thought is to sign Wirtz and Frimpong and that Xabi Alonso is gonna go to another club. I hope they can keep it together and become a really big name
That’s how it used to be. The big clubs didn’t have nearly as much money, and the foreigner limit was also in play, which used to be applied to EU-member nations too. So when a mid table or even minnow club assembled a great team, most of the time it remained a great team because the majority of the core wasn’t picked apart!
