Definitely, and specifically confident without being conceited: he seems very sure of where he wants/needs to continue learning and growing, which is a perfect recipe alongside his genuine confidence in himself.

He seems very grounded.. Idk, I get a good feeling about this kidd whether hes just a great personality in the locker room or on the court theres just something about him that makes me excited to see what his next steps are & what that looks like
Yep. There's the occasional exception, like Aghib Talib of the NFL, who talks like he flunked out of 2nd grade, but plays well on the playing field. But in general you want a guy who sounds intelligent, confident, and at the same time ready to learn and take that next step. Baylor is all of that. I know that guys drafted out of the top 10 or so rarely make a big impact in the NBA. But he sounds like a guy who is already pretty polished but still have good upside. With a stacked team like the Celts, he will have plenty of time to work on his game until he is ready to step in and contribute. I am hoping that after the first 30 games of the season or so, he can get some minutes.

He will be such an upgrade with Sam Hauser at the shooting guard position maybe even better once he gains more of a feel for the speed of the game. I bet you’ll hear “Sheierman! FIRIN’ 🔥!” A lot
This made me chuckle, but at the same time if he can be a Joe Ingles type guy while this core is still all together that's ideal. Anyone who hustles and works to prevent getting picked on defensively while moving the ball well and knocking down 3s will help keep this team on top
