Yeah, LiB only. No other weapons.
This run was supposed to be a challenge, but it turned out to be the easiest run I did so far. And the most fun. LiB is absurdly powerful and easy to use. Even the hardest fight IMO - ch9v3 - was piss easy.
You may consider using BoT against bosses as cheesing, but unlike using it with Rosa, or Rodin, or whatever, mana isn't infinite, so I have to manage it, save it and use wisely. And hey, Balder 2 and 3, Loptr, Prophet, Alraune and Aesir fights were done mostly without it, so it's fair, I guess.
Btw, this run felt like cleanest one I did yet + This was first time I did ch16 verses 1 and 2 in a single segment. Yet I skipped ch14 again, because who cares?

Exactly it kind of confuses me how the original Bayonetta has fly me to the Moon playing multiple times but Moon River only plays twice in 2 but hey at least we got tomorrow is mine. Another funny thing is that in bayonetta 3, moon serenade plays lots of times.

I swear by using the guns too! Its a shame though cuz the moveset from Love is Blue is my favourite out of the 3 but i feel like its damage is much lower than Scarborough Fair and Colour my world :(

Always love seeing people demonstrate that LiB isn't nearly as bad as people think! I only recently because able to play Bayo 2 and when I used LiB I was doing just fine unlike what I had expected, and now we have people showing everyone that it's a decent weapon

Decent? It's top-tier weapon. Universal, easy to use, high dps, you keep forced bat within trick. It's godlike

@@sadpug9398 Honestly, I agree. Also another major factor imo is the hitbox sizes ln weaves are much larger than SF weaves, which makes LiB generally better for dealing with enemy waves. Also the third hit of PPKKK has amazing bullet arts when you're fighting large enemies that can easily get hit by all 3 bullet trajectories

@@sadpug9398 I just have to wonder WHY so many people think it's bad. It's relatively slower in some animations but makes up for it with high flexibility and large weaves, so you really only need to use dodge offset properly to compensate for the relative slowness

@@feyernightblade2050 lib is busted in the air. The ground to air transitions are so smooth. the amount of weaves you’re able to sneak in can legit stunlock some angels. Pkp for crowd control, while her weaves involving kicks are the main killers. Air pkp and pkk weaves can dodge cancel faster, but since love is blue shines in the air with its superior framedata, you want to jump cancel them to keep the advantage. The fire rate and accuracy is okay, but the amount of control you have with her weaves makes up for it. (Turn off witch strike for easier jump cancels) grounded ppkk + jump cancel pkp while they’re in tumble animation feels so nasty. Main problem with this game is that hold/ charged attacks are so meta for Bayonetta especially; at least with the bullet arts, it feels more natural bc they’re guns.. can never see myself playing past the third climax due to the jank with the scores and those awful humanoid fights…But as far as love is blue is concerned, I see the vision💙

Yep. And any grab attack, as long as it doesn't damage you instantly, but in most cases it leades to dropping your combo

Btw I remember back a few weeks ago, I was giving some tips for a guy's first time playing bayo 2 for the alraune fight... and it was to also use Love is blue, the bullets in umbran climax do crazy damage and he beat her first phase (which is harder than her second one for some reason) damageless. You wanna see?

I don't have any favourite chapter in Bayo2, most of them are good. But my least favourite is chapter 10 - 3 fights with Sloth (one of them vs 2 Sloths), fight AFTER Spider and fight vs 4 demon dogs are very annoying. I also dislike ch14, but unlike Isla del Sol (bayo1 ch14) you can skip it and lose nothing. Bayo1 ch14 is shittiest gimmick in the game with excellent Jeanne4 fight. And I don't like Ch3, because there is no actual fight for the most part. No favourite fights either. Most of them are good, except humanoid bosses with instant attacks and grabs. No favourite cutscene. I love them, because it's easy to edit my videos, but storywise.. I still don't know story of Bayo1 and Bayo2. At all. I've never watched cutscenes and don't want to.

Bayo1 is the only game in series, where you can't use witch time on infinite climax.

Kinda. You can't cancel this attack, so it's a lot easier to dodge + it guarantees bat within

As you saw - charge punch, activate witch time (doesn't matter if it's dodge or bat within), as soon as you release the attack use umbran climax and continue the combo till 3rd hit, jump, 3hit, jump 3 hit. There I got bad rng, but it's pretty consistently kills him in 3 loops. If you wasted all your mana before this fight - charge punch, WT, release and 2nd punch and then just mash punch and weapon set swap. I just tried it against bosses and it's... mad fun! Am I character locked? Balder 3 is piss easy with Jeanne. And I have a surprise to show. UPD: more testing. Not so fun. DPS is mad low. Gold time in gomorrah fight. But with my surprise it's possible to get PP (I guess)

UPD2: did prologue to chapter 4 + chapter 9 already. Didn't even need my trick to pureplat the bane of my existance ch9v3. Kafka/Samsa is very good weapon. Yes, there are some fights where some weapons could be better, but it's still easy

For some reason killing the last enemy and taking hit during bat within activation window doesn't count as taking damage. The same thing happened to me in other video

Some fights are just too frustrating. And at any time I can just use Labolas as main damage and Bayo as mana battery. This will be ultra boring.
