But this way they need to balance Balder and Rodin to be playable in actual game. I mean dodging enemies are hard for Balder, you can only land 2 punches before lightspeed ends. Blocking enemies aren't that big of a problem. For Rodin both dodging and blocking enemies are problematic. They can block charged attacks. And Rodin has no witch time at all, making dodging enemies literally unkillable

wdym? If you missed one, you can collect it on any playthrough. And LPs aren't difficulty locked (except sai-fung, which only can be obtainted by finishing 100 chapters on normal or higher difficulty)

do I need to finish and also find the LP on a difficulty? so i can use it on that difficulty again?

@@markvillapando1257 just replay the chapter. If you missed one piece on normal, you still can get it on any difficulty

They combined all character progess in Bayonetta 2 which means you may swap to any playable character (if you unlocked them already) and use the obtained/ unlocked weapon at will (expect for rosa), not like on bayonetta 1 where every playable character needs to be played on a separate save file with the frustration that you need to unlock/ obtain all the weapons again.

It's not just cosmetic. 1st - yes, it does a lot more damage by itself. You may check chapter 11, where I used her default and StarFox skins. As a referent point look at combo score of PKP combo (if you didn't know, in bayo2 damage = combo points) 2nd - it removes damage fall off from range (damage is fixed) 3rd - for example Jeanne's PPKKK combo: if you hold last kick to shoot, damage is miniscule in default skins, and pretty high with starfox skin. 4th - again PPKKK combo. Seems like bullets have some autoaim, so not only damage is higher, but more bullets hit your target. 5th - around the same timing Rosa shoots her bullets, airwing guns start shooting 2 times more bullets, which also affects damage.

Because this game's meta has nothing to do with style. Time and combo requirements aren't balanced at all, and taking no damage is too hard with the amount of bs this game throws at you

@@sadpug9398 Time and combo requirements are balanced around *not* doing this kind of spamming and clock tower witch timing through the whole trial, spamming and abusing it like this is what makes it broken. It introduced the improvisation multiplier to encourage making use of as many techniques as you can on top of combo staling, this franchise is literally all about style. This run looks like it wasn’t fun to play at all because it’s mashing the same combo again and again with enemies barely able to even move because you spam the clock tower on loop as soon as they spawn in. Taking no damage is a skill challenge and the clock spam is a lazy shortcut

As you saw - charge punch, activate witch time (doesn't matter if it's dodge or bat within), as soon as you release the attack use umbran climax and continue the combo till 3rd hit, jump, 3hit, jump 3 hit. There I got bad rng, but it's pretty consistently kills him in 3 loops. If you wasted all your mana before this fight - charge punch, WT, release and 2nd punch and then just mash punch and weapon set swap. Rosa + Bracelet of time is literally cheat. (huge damage, insane safety, infinite mana). All you need is Punch(hold till shoot)x3 - double dodge (tiger within cancel) and repeat. Rodin (weapon) + Bracelet of time is extreamly easy too. KickKickKick spam is all you need. If you learn timing of BoT activation it's infinite or almost infinite (press kick and right before you hit enemie hold BoT button, release it right after 3rd hit). And if you don't have enough mana - purple lollipops! Unlike Bayo1, you don't get penalty for using items. If not my weapon specific runs, this is my way of beating bosses. With bosses you fight flying - Scarborough fair + chain chomp + BoT. PPPPK, and right before bombs connect use BoT. Ultra easy infinite stunlock. Works in any humanoid boss fight, but Rodin is faster. In the air Rodin still works, it just feels clunky without panther cancel. If you want play legitimately: All guns on feet are SSS+ tier weapon because of bat within tech. Lock-on + back + kick + dodge (1 dodge is enough, but mashing might help with consistency). You'll get bat/moth/hornet within in 100% cases (unless it's grab). Somewhat "high skill, high reward" set-up: in one set Chainsaws (hands) + any guns (feet) and some fast weapon in hands (LiB, SF, Shuraba) + Alruna (feet) in 2nd set. Against regular semi-squishy enemies use bat within tech and shred them with chainsaws (2 hits with Cereza, 4 with Jeanne per witch time). Against big tanky enemies - BWT, switch sets, jump, PPK(hold this kick), switch back, shred defenseless enemies. Doing it in air is mandatory, since this way stun is waaaaaaaay longer. Alruna on feet is also amazing against horde of small flying enemies. KKK-pause-K kills everyone. Shuraba + LiB is braindead combo. Just use airPPKP. No need to jump/dodge cancel anything, just mash this combo. Most enemies will get stunned after 2nd combo, and this stun is long enought to do this combo 2 more times for infinite stunlock. Plus charged Shuraba hit if great opener for a fight. For accessories I don't see them any useful. Eternal testimony is good for muspelheim, since it allows faster Climax and BoT. Earring of ruin is amazing (better than most UCs). Just use PPP, hold last punch and deactivate it ASAP to save + even gain some mana (in total you'll spent 3 mana points per combo). Rosa + infernal communicator makes Rodin boss fight ultra easy (use it right before 2nd phase). Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa is garbage (it ruins BWT, but helps Jeanne against dogs, if you fked up and can still react).

@@sadpug9398 Thank you so much!!! I just tried the rosa strat and she’s insane! I knew she had a high damage output but I didn’t know it could be this high. Also thanks for the weapon combos. I’ve been struggling to find a weapon combo that isn’t too slow but does high enough damage. I knew that Alruna was a good weapon, I just wasn’t using it right. I agree, Moin of Mahlaa-Kalaa is absolute garbage in Bayonetta 2. In Bayonetta 1 it at least gave more witch time but in Bayonetta 2 it’s just completely useless. Again thank you for everything, I just beat the prologue with a gold trophy!

Modding it is as easy as playing Balder/Rodin. I just tried it. It's extreamly easy. Literally no problem PPing the whole game.
