@@bonelesscommunism4031 No it's because you have to end your combos to get extra points and not repeat the same moves. Also obviously that the combo chain doesn't break. It's easy to get PP on combos, actually, but since this videos has a lot of cancels, the game thinks you can't accomplish finishers
@@HNblaz idk if you played the same game, but many of the PP requierements are off the charts in this game. After all, this game is balanced around eficiency rather than style like the first game. This means the way to go is to cause massive damage in little time (examples of this are Shuraba charge attack and Umbran Clímax). Unlike the first game, extending your combo strings is heavily punished here, meaning short combos and high DPS weapons are the only real way to get PP, specially if you're playing in higher difficulties and/or playing Bayo
@@lyzder7298 I actually played both games, waiting for the 3rd ahah ! (Also a big fan of DMC) Is it like that in Bayo 2 ? Because I get PP when I do these full combos without breaking the chain, in a short amount of time. I swear I learn something new from my favourite games everyday.
they could blend the mechanics together to like have the DMC cast play how they play in there there games and let Bayo cast play how they play in there games but idk if it works like that, probably not im not a game designer but that doesn't mean they could try anything possible but I would kill for a DMC x Bayo crossover game
@@raina7828 That could work, but Nero is literally the unga character in dmc. Kinda redundant to include Bayo unless they go the "brought from different worlds" route again, and even then there's no reason to play Bayo if you're serious about playing on a competent or Donguri's level
The combo setup at 2:32 is so basic, but so cool. Chain Chomp combos always get me hype We need to see more Rodin / Balder combos, but they're such a pain to setup lol Nice video. 👍
@@andreware2039 imagine if bayonetta and alucard (post schrodinger) had a daughter, combined with alucard's and bayo's powers.. would you think she'll be indestructible?
Thanks for somewhat sticking around Donguri. Every other action game player has retired. Brea, Tikok, DMC01(or was it 101?), Dango, and many others are MIA. I'm hoping DMC5 brings everyone back into the fold. It's tall order, but I'm hoping either that happens or a new generation of style comes in.
while i was bayonetta i used Rashka (for arms and legs) and scarborough fair (for arms and legs and second weapon) and use the climax bracelet and the parry idk if i did good or not on it but this is amazing!
Oh, if ONLY it was JUST the graphics... Sadly, outside of the great idea which are the Demon Slaves Bayo 3 is a faaar worse game then both 2 and 1. Just a on a technical level in general. It's genuinely embarassing.
Huh. I always found it much easier to pull off crazy combos in Bayonetta games than I did in Devil May Cry. Probably because it's much faster paced with far more open chains.
I found Devil May Cry more open than Bayonetta due to the weapon freedom given. DMC3's Switch version is the pinnacle of Character action games in my opinion.
Amazing as ever. Can I ask what weapon is Jean using at 2:30? I see giant Date Masamune style blades on either hand, but the symbol in the bottom left looks more like the flame thrower weapons.
maybe it's just the weapon limits placed on Bayonetta, unlike in DMC where you can use every weapon at once in DMC4, DMC5, and DMC3 (on Switch or Modded PC version), which really is annoying that we're limited to assigning weapons to an A and B setup. I'd love to be able to switch to C and D.
Kamiya made Devil May Cry (the first one), who also created Bayonetta. It's worth noting that DMC's current legacy is due to DMC3-5 which is thanks to Itsuno. Fun fact, DMC1 originally was Resident Evil 4 (Kamiya directed RE2). But it was so actiony that Capcom split it off and had it become it's own IP.
