Flight of a Bruce Tharpe Flyin King at the newly constructed Bayside RC Club airfield. The new field was opened 5 years after the closing of the old airfield, which is now the Warm Springs Bart Station. Onboard video via a GoPro Hero 4 affixed to the main landing gear strut.

Woooo so glad the club has a field again. I have been flying off and on over at Baylands park. But got my start at Bayside RC back in 2009 with rotorcraft. There are some awesome folks at Baylands park but I have always preferred the club environment due to it being a little more structured. I'm going to come check out the new field Saturday if the weather hold up. Otherwise I;ll try and be there next weekend to check out the scene. I let my AMA lapse so it seems like it's time to renew. Cheers! Oh I have a bunch of old videos from the old airfield in my videos here on RU-vid. :D

@HeliDragon510 Hey man glad to hear you're still around and flying!! I remember all the old videos, you have a two part one of my Yak at the old field! Definitely come check the field out man, it's turning out quite nice! May see you there if I have some time this weekend! Brandon

Hi Brandon Paul Rink bay side member from Fremont.Did you guys find a new field since this one closed? I back in the bay area .Hope we have a field to fly at 2021? Happy flying...

Hey Paul! We haven't to my knowledge. I would love if the club got hold of a field again. Still a club and holding the yearly auction. Was unfortunate we ended up losing this one! Happy flying to you as well.
