I love Dave White on this show and the podcast he hosts with Alonso Duralde. However a big thanks to Matt Atchity, because now I know why the trailers for this movie disturbed me. Zac Efron looks like he was drawn by a very talented comic book artist.

why does everyone hate this film so much? I went in wanting to hate this but I couldnt help laugh, I enjoyed it, even the morgue scene, I couldnt help it. Even the bad fire at the start, this was better then 21Jump etc. Oh well. Salt seems to be the easy to go to flavour these days. I agree the cameos were miss placed and forced

Has anyone on this dying RU-vid channel considered devoting their time to watching and reviewing / recapping some of those TV shows recommended by fans when there's a drought of films worth watching? Just a thought. I like all three of the critics here, but it seems too often that Christy or Alonso gets stuck with shit detail propping up the channel with reviews of films we knew were going to be bad. And now Dave White is being roped in as well (did they promise you first bite at 'The Purge 4: The Electorate Strikes Back' ?) Alonso will just throw _anyone_ under the bus, right?!

I would have prefer a reunion TV movie with Hasslehoff and Team reuniting instead of this remake. they should stop remaking old TV shows, that's the lazy way. even though I never like the original show that much, maybe for the 1st two seasons, they we're okay.

This was cringe inducing from start to finish. Every single line was a “funny “ “joke”. Yes they thought they were so “smart”. Even the villain had that stupid new age “original “ antagonist that are charming and crack jokes , yea that’s sooooo unique..never saw a villain like that before..so annoying

Baywatch COULD be made into a funny movie, but this ain't the way to do it. What made Baywatch great(?) to watch was it's cringe-worthy sincerity, and the fact that NO ONE on the show was "cool." This movie seems to want to make all the characters "cool." David Hasselhoff, with his shades on a string and his collar constantly up-turned, was laughable. A Baywatch movie should be made in the same way The Brady Bunch movie was made: completely self-aware at how "un-cool" everything was.

There are a lot of fans of the TV show, I would much rather have seen a straight action movie made out of it instead of what we got. The jokes didn't land and kind of took me out of it. Also the fat guy (Ronnie)shouldn't have been in it, his part was embarassing.

I don't understand the hate this movie is getting. It's big, it's average, it's stupid. It's exactly as advertised and I got my money's worth out of it.

I expect Efron is taking steroids or other substance to get that kind of definition.

That's the mistake all these so called remake geniuses keep making. They always want to make fun of the originals but the originals were never intended to be a comedy. Starsky & hutch was NOT a comedy. 21 Jump Street was NOT a comedy. Chips was NOT a comedy. And even Baywatch was NOT a comedy! Thank god they scrubbed the plans a few years ago to make a Rockford Files remake with Vince Vaughn. Another reboot they would have attemped to turn into another stupid slapstick comedy. Only two good remakes I ever saw was when Harrison Ford did The Fugitive & the TV remake of Hawaii 5-0. Both stayed true to the originals while updating them for modern times. That is the key! You have to HONOR the originals not make fun of them!

8/10 for me. Really funny and charming movie. :)
