reconstruction and some footage of a protracted rescue operation to extricate a boy who had fallen into a void underground at Cannock Chase and had become trapped by his ears
It's a good thing the family dog found the hole and was barking to get their attention otherwise that kid would never been found so that dog saved his life.
Imagine if his head didn't get stopped and he fell further. Would have been one of the biggest disappearances ever. Literally kid just vanishes. Really doesn't bare thinking about
even thow there was a massive effort to save him witch there did!!!! but also a hero in this is the dog!!! god bless the dog n teams invold to free him!! 💙
@@jackdove4136 I'll chase up my friend who's doing it for me....he told me about a month or two ago that it would only take him a week or so, so I'll ask him when I next see him (which should be in the week!). I know what you mean....I really want to see it again too - for some reason, that rescue really stood out in my mind!! So yeah, I'll give him a gee up! Watch this space!! :-)
@@jackdove4136 Saw him tonight....hopefully it should happen in the next couple of weeks!! (He's been super busy but said everything will be slowing down next week so he will have time to do it then! :-)
@@jackdove4136 I'm sorry....I am on it! I have reminded my friend several times! I will ask him again when I see him! Honestly, I'm as keen to see it again as you are, so it WILL happen! :-) I just know he's been very busy lately but he's had my VHS tape for a number of months now so I'll chase him up again on Thursday evening (when I'm next seeing him!). Trust me, I'm getting frustrated about it too so you will see it before long! :-)
Excellent rescue, one of the most famous rescues in Britain, if not the world. This rescue is also in one of my fire and rescue books. If it's ok with you, i've shared it to my facebook group.
