Ohhh...that is BETTER than I thought it will be! Intitally I thought that the Election Debate titles weeks ago would be the opening titles for the Election Night (and honestly I had low expectations for its design since the Chameleon titles)... and then this aired! Dare someone to recreate this!

these titles are amazing 🥰🥰🥰 they are way better than verified live and news now, I wonder if I can recreate these

I couldn't agree more...somehow this is better than the 2019 one! WAY better than those titles!

This is absolutely beautiful! Honestly loved every bit about the titles! If you listen closely, the music was altered... it's much better. You can hear that the music it repeats at 0:11. And you can hear more of the orchestra at 0:19. It's sooo much better!!! There is also a new election bed they use.

Yeah...I think this year election's presentation is better. The fact that they used a specially made on-screen aston graphics for this election makes it pretty unique too (and not just the normal aston modified - like with the 2019 Election and older). That opening titles with the triangle and scenes just totally blessed my eyes and ears...

Why does it feel like they made the section for each party longer to deliberately leave out the Greens
@clarkpatient7950

Well the Greens are pretty much irrelevant now so its not surprising.

If you showed this to the people who made the 1987 intro they’d be absolutely stunned. They could only dream of doing CGI like that.

A shame the rest of the coverage was nowhere near as good. There was far too much chat and not enough declarations this time…
@abtravel0279

For me it was just the random choice to include small shots of declarations in the background, when without any sound or graphics we had absolutely no idea what was going on. Ie pointless. The choice of making the main screen smaller I thought was pretty strange as well and at times there was further insignificant stuff in the surrounding parts. Where was the statistical sequence of votes, vote percentages, the change, the swing, the same pattern we are all used to. Also no pictures of the incoming MP, instead the leader of the party? They changed all of this! Why? Who knows. They changed a lot this time around and it didn’t work. Poorest the BBC have done in a long time, even beating 2019’s pretty bad performance. I get it’s not going to be the same without Dimbleby, but nobody has really come to the front that makes you think, this is the face of Politics on the BBC. It’s just some newsreaders and political editors that don’t have the pull that Dimbleby had. Really things started to go wrong when Snow retired after 2005, but 2010-2017 still had something going for them.

@@abtravel0279 Yeah...but the intro is very nice! Still, kudos to the BBC.

@@itjustmeLam It’s ok. I like the revamped Arthur, but it’s no match for 1992 or 1997 which are still the best two. The purple graphics I didn’t get, but I’m sure that was typical of the new BBC identity of having colour association with divisions. The floating pyramid thing I again didn’t get. I’m not saying it was bad, I just didn’t understand what the purpose of those particular things was. Arguably one of the best things they did though was the continual Arthur from the intro all the way to the Exit Poll. That was very clever.

Agree, more declarations, less chit chat! They completely misread the type of audience who watches them at 3:30am!
