Moviedrome was a series produced by the BBC to introduce the British public to cult cinema. It was first presented by Alex Cox (1987-1995), and later by Mark Cousins (1995-1998). The series was typically broadcast every Saturday night after 10 pm.
This episode was originally uploaded by another RU-vid Channel, but unfortunately it is no longer online, and the uploader is unknown. If you are the original uploader please contact me for accreditation.

“I can think of only *one* other instance of a *Truly GOOD Remake* , William Freidkin’s *’The Wages of Fear’* ‘Wages of Fear’ was A Great Film based on A Great Film -“ Yeah, it’s also *not CALLED, ’Wages of Fear’* , and it *ISN’T a Remake* ; Ya Tricksy Backstard. it’s *not* a remake when you go back work from *The Source Material* (which is *A Novel,* in BOTH these instances), and it’s called *’The Sorcerer’* Cleopatra - THAT’S a remake; The Ten Commandment - THAT’S a remake; The Passion/Last Temptation of Christ/The Greatest Story ever Told…..? NOT a remake.
