I believe the first new updated countdown to be shown was the filler, at 10pm. The 4am countdown is the first I’ve managed to record (YET AGAIN I’m abroad when an update happens)

I think they need to completely change the countdown. Like it's been quite similar for the last 16 years. They shouldn't just change a few clips

Agreed. The music desperately needs changing. I wonder why they can't when they can just use the 2024 Countdown that was LITERALLY used as a breakfiller back in March. Why, BBC News?

I certainly agree what is wrong with them?! Lucy hockings clip for instance used since 2016 who keeps clips that long for?!

@@jordanhunt4867not to mention the Jane hill footage from 2012! They had the 2018 and didn’t give a shit about it. New footage at least needed for more. Music and format… idk, given how badly the BBC execute creative things now, I’d rather they stick with a classic from a previous golden era.
