Britain is crazy! Scotland has the dramatic scenery but the weather often prevents it from being seen and England gets the warmer weather and all people can see most of the time is motorways, cars and council estates! God bless Canada.

@@ldhdjzjjaklzjdbd6610 I can't remember the exact incident, but after handing back to the newscasters one of them made a remark, Tomasz took it with good humour and at the same time gave the middle finger while laughing: fortunately the cameraman filmed it , Tomasz realised this and his face was a picture.

Because he still finished what he had to do but kept laughing. So he kind of made it through. If he didn't laugh then he fully made it through

@@zaidm1134 To make it through means to complete or endure something despite difficulties. That's what he did. You can either make it through something or you can't. There's no middle ground. But even if you could say he only kind-of made it through, "make it through" is a phrasal verb. It makes no sense to put quotation marks around one of the words and not the whole phrase. It's like if they wrote somebody 'gave' up or 'sat' down.
