Yes, great to see you guys didn't get into trouble with the cracks. They always form in the same places each season based on the time of the season and the snowpack depth. A good reason to ask some local guide companies for the location. Guiding Backcountry tours in Niseko and surrounds since 1992.
Great video. Well put together. Shows all that Niseko area has to offer. I was there in Feb last year and heading back next week. Cant wait!!! Your vid got me pumped to go. Not that you need it. Great place.
I thought Niseko is an Australian resort for summer vacation. However I surprised by this movie English people came for short winter vacation. I am very glad, thank you for English people.
It is defiantly a tourist trap. But only the days, I couldn't say how much better Niseko is when it was smaller. More fresh snow, less tracks, more gysoa available. Never the less snow is ridiculous ive been going every year since.
Nothing worse than going to a bar where there are all foreign staff who have no idea what an umeshuu is...I didn't go to Japan to hang out with a bunch of Aussies. I go every year and alternate between Furano and Annu Puri (other side of mountain from Hirafu) Annu Puri's advantage is that when it dumps, you get first tracks because everyone is over on the Hirafu side fighting for the lifts there...meanwhile on Annu Puri we get a few runs in before they make it over.
hey man, awesome video, what were some of the resorts you went to? im thinking about planning a trip for next season. looks like you found some awesome snow
Very nice video! We're living in Squaw Valley this season, but not much snow- we're thinking Niseko next season.. Your video gives a good look at it. Here's a look at Squaw Valley, just for fun. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2lEoVhggs0s.html Thanks for posting your video!
