BBC Radio Wavelength Changes 1978 

On 23 November 1978 the BBC's national radio stations changed the medium wave and long wave wavelengths/frequencies on which they broadcast . This sequence includes on-air publicity, jingles and news reports leading up to the changes and the switch-overs as they took place.
