@@gymnasticslover5064 jades dty is incredible, some slightly soft knees but that’s it. Also the cheng has .8 more difficulty than the Lopez chiles does so all jade rly had to do was put it to her feet
@@josephqualtier961 Guess although Jade does a lot more difficult if she didn’t easy about she still wouldn’t have as good execution and there’s a lot more wrong with her DTY then just soft the bend

@@gym_analysis no complaints here. Difficulty counts too, and she's clearly doing difficulty that's well within her capability. Her form isn't actually that bad, it's just messy compared to Jordan's. But then, Jordan's form wouldn't be as fabulous if she did the more difficult vault. Paseka is another story, if you ask me. Her form makes her vaulting unpleasant to watch, in my opinion. I would not say the same for Jade.
The only way you can win at world's is to execute when you need it. Unfortunately Rebecca dudnt perform well enough that day it happens. Wanted Jordan or Ellie to win but ones difficulty isn't high enough and the other I underscored by judges sigh 😔, Congrats to Jade she's consistently performing difficulty routines.

That is the entire sport today… the decline is apparent and snoozefest. On all events. The 80s and 90s and 00s was the golden age. Now I can barely watch. Very trashy now
Agreed. The vaults were so elegant when I was young (of the Americans, Shannon Miller comes to mind). The body position was so pretty. Now it’s about chucking skills with no elegance.
It's really hard and dangerous if you're still twisting while you landing, plus the landing is blind making things even more complicated. It seems that top level vaulters are going for the Cheng over an Amanar because of the start values. Simone and Jade don't use their amanars so idk if we are going to see it anytime soon. I do miss it though.
For me Jordan Xiles form is the best if she did a cheng she would win 1st place... jade carey form is worse over the years she now has a V entry like maria paseka (although not as bad)... also yeo seo jeong should have done her vault cuz it's rare
Unfortunately, Rebecca Andrade messed up her run on one of her vaults in qualifying. So sad for such a wonderful vaulter. But happy she won the All-Around gold!
If it were me, you can't win with 2 Yurchenko entry vaults. And how many years it's been and still have not seen a Produnova at a World or Olympic level?
People have attempted the Prudonova in recent years… someone did it at Tokyo, and I remember Dipa Karmakar attempted it in Rio (and those are just what i remember off the top of my head). I’d love to see more women try it but I don’t blame them for not wanting to risk it. I’d rather see more tsukahara’s and front handspring to front entry vaults
I know Americans are super happy, but Carey's vaults are horrible. I'd rather have Chiles with clean execution as the winner than Carey's horrible form walking away with a gold medal.
That is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read 😂 she tripped up just like Jade and many others have done before. It's a hard sport for a reason.
@@art-temporelle4066 She did double twists in both 2 attempts but she has also made poor landing in both 2 vault attempts ! Shoko is one of the best vaulter in the present too !

Can't be over pointed with D. Jade starts at almost 1 point from the field. Jordan starts at .6 over the field. Rest of the world needs to do more than DYT and 1.5 V.
Well Jordan has probably the cleanest execution out of all of them and Carey has higher difficulty to make up for her less-than-great execution. So you're kinda just wrong.
This was the stupidest comment I’ve ever read! Their vaults were just that good! Same for Rebecca if she was here her scores would have b een through the roof. That’s how good she is! So Hade and Jordan were just really good today as always&
