They have to say that on the BBC, or they did, so as to distance the corporation from the films. Or something, I actually have no idea why they have to do it but they do.
I really don't see why BBC1 cannot still closedown properly like this. Radio 4 switches immediately to the World Service after closedown, but they do still closedown, including the National Anthem.
