Relius had Ignis hold her down while he probed her mind. He used some kind of magic to analyze her soul, and in doing so drudges up all of her negative emotions and memories she tried to hide, ignoring the happy ones. Makoto keeps trying to deny and resist his torture, but all it takes is Relius to say one little thing that finally breaks her: her "friendship" with Noel and Tsubaki is nothing more than her squirrel instincts. The trauma is so great that she becomes completely paralyzed.
Well, Relius' Arcade mode IS canon, it shows what happened to Terumi after the fight in the True Ending with Ragna and how he ended up shutting down Takamagahara.
So after Ragna combined his fake Azure Grimore with the Idea Engine & used his upgraded Blazblue to defeat Terumi in battle, Ragna went to the cauldron to confront Mu-12 and revert her back into Noel Vermillion using his arm. While Ragna was fighting Mu-12, THIS boss arcade battle between Relius & Hazama happened. Relius finds Hazama/Terumi after he lost to Ragna and after it, they recruit Litchi, Tsubaki & together they join with the Imperator A.K.A. Hades Izanami who declares that the day of ruin will begin.
Lots of people hate on the ''new'' voice for Hazama, but I like it, he gets the character right. Dunno if he'll permanently replace the original, or if he just wasn't available like what happened with Noel's, Rachel's and Bang's (damn that one was terrible) voice actors in CS2
Yeah, Kokonoe's insanely angry in the original, but is just mildly surprised in the dub. Carl sounds like he's trying to confront his father here, but it sounds like he's giving a hissy fit in the original...which makes perfect sense. Eh...I prefer the dub because it doesn't sound like the characters are about to explode every other minute.
Spike Spencer voiced Hazama only in the extra scene in CSII's Arcade Mode ending where he throws Mu-12 to fight against you(which is pretty jarring because in the cutscene played instants before he has his original voice playing...)
I like how smarmy Relius is in English. But on the other hand, I like how Japanese Relius just doesn't give a shit. Also, you can really feel the hatred in Japanese Carl's voice.
@dat1ngadaime From what I understand, Terumi was still human when he, Relius and Nine's father opened the gate to the Boundary that released the Black Beast on the world. (this took place over a hundred years before the game) After that, he lost his original body and Relius had to construct new ones for him (the Hazama bodies)
@EnvyMizuhashi All I heard from the guys at Aksys was that they didn't do the translation for the portable CS2 stuff or Extend. Arc System Works did it directly, so they probably either got a few VAs mixed up in the process, or couldn't get them back in time.
for the sake of correction. The wiki has it wrong. Spike spencer voice him in BBCSE. If you check the IMDb It lists Doug as voicing him for CS which is fantastic since he also voices hazama's twin, Gin Ichimaru
Bad news, I'm afraid. Arcsys has started setting up watchdogs on video sites that flag all story-related videos for BB & Persona 4 Arena. Nobody is going to be uploading them anytime soon for fear of getting their account banned all because of a few spoilers.
2 things: 1) Who cares about the English voice acting? Switch to japanese already! xP 2) If you really think that Hazama didn't plan this with his Xanatos and Thanatos Gambits and he isn't acting and trolling, you really need to remember who we're talking about here: It's Hazama! How is that not obvious? xO If it isn't, go read his page on TvTropes so you can just be told it straight. xD
Alright, let's make a distinction. Hazama is a troll, but Terumi himself is a bigger troll and literally survives off it. Terumi needed Relius to kill his Hazama body so he could upload the virus on Takamagahara in Ghost Form which isn't bad for Hazama because he had a life link to Noel, so he would resurrect anyway.. No, Hazama and Terumi aren't the same person. In fact, all three of them got exactly what they wanted in that moment.
Imma Xehanort im not talking about the killing part, im talking about where he sarcastically asks terumi why he is resting by the cauldron and not at his office and etc.
@zyonhunter Terumis new voice is the same voice actor for Sima Shi in DW7...I like his voice for being calm but when it comes to him getting made he sounds awful....I wish his old voice will come back
@AmayaSama1 Some guy named Erik Davies. He's been kinda in-and-out of this stuff. The only notable role I can think of for him is Soma in Castlevania Harmony of Despair.
He kinda dies. This ending explains how he managed to be in his ghost form and pass takamagahara's defenses. But he's body was then repaired :(. SOB does not know when to quit.
@InfinitelyMasked Ah interesting. Is this information in phase 0 or phase 1? Have u read them both? If so can u tell me where to find them translated? About half of phase 0 has been translated to english and thats about all i kno about.
Number 12 i sure as hell hope they dont have another robot that looks like noel fight the next character is going to be female but i hope she is like Trinity a cute little kickass girl that holds a weapon that can change fate and stuff and alter space
So that explains things. Terumi needed Ragna to kill him to do what he did in the later part of the true ending. Killing would not do any good as he would had come back to life regardless.
I'm kind of dissapointed in the voice acting.The fight of relius and carl sounds better in japanese; you can hear all the feelings in their words...well mostly the words of hatred from carl. Also everybody agrees with me when i say that i prefered the old voice of one of the greatest troll in videogames.
I'll always find his Japanese voice to be so superior to the english, and I'm not a man who usually takes the JP over ENG. Yuuichi Nakamura just does an amazing job as Terumi
Subtly? You should see him in the new story modes. Hazama's practically twice as trolly with the new voice. As Terumi he finally sounds like the complete prick he should be.
The vast majority of Japanese voices in this game are complete shit. Pretty much everyone but Hazama has a terrible Japanese VA. And they're not really gambits if he literally knows what will happen at all times.
