I've been anticipating this video for a long time...and it did not disappoint! The windy conditions, long holes, undulating greens all made for a legitimate match. I especially enjoyed having the players' inside perspective picked up by their mikes and on-course interviews as well as Bobby's breakdown of their swings. I expect it is difficult to setup the ball tracking, but I'd like to see a lot more (not the ghetto version...haha). Both the players' skill and sportsmanship are phenomenal! Great job fellas!

Fantastic job Brendan! I’ve played that course a bunch (never from those tees though) and I agree that Monte could have been helped greatly by a little local knowledge. BTW that bank shot he hit and rolled back to the pin is a staple in my arsenal there! Loved it.

Montes comments towards the end about how many good shots he made was reminiscent of Ben Hogans comments that during a round he would only hit 3 or 4 what he considered good shots. The others were serviceable. Good point.

This was soo good. Thanks a lot Brendan! Monty was really sporting and not at all bitter in defeat. I think Monty would have won a lot of fans from this vid. The match could have easily gone the other way. I'd hate to play either of them... watching them bomb it over 320 yards every drive. Yeikes!

Agree! Christi on the range seems very impressive, but every course vlog where he has to show all the shots are often less so. Thus makes me wonder whether what he preaches actually works or if it’s just more being a Hogan dilettante.

I enjoyed this video. Both swings look nice , Monte's swing is very aesthetic looking, powerful and free flowing. I do think monte got a bit nonchalant on the second putt when he rolled it 6 feet by the hole!

Awesome match: production, sportsmanship and level of golf! Monte had a bit of a disadvantage as he hadn't played a practice round and didn't have caddy to maybe make him focus a bit more. Also his putting speed was not dialled in. And I don't think it helped that he talked about his swing flaws, LOL. Very educational though! Thanks to both of them for sharing their thoughts! I suggest to let Blaire defend against Luke Kwon. He is a similar caliber: Mini-Tour/PGA China and he also has a great YT-channel. Oh, and 2nd place should also get some cash or at least forelinx membership...

Monte seems to be of a Jack Nicklaus mind set -- into tee to green shots, and putting. Not so big on chips and pitches or other "specialty" shots. Blair on the other hand is like a Seve Balesteros, into the specialty shots. This match is like watching Nicklaus and Balesteros go at it.
