I watched Bobby Clampett play in college and he had it all . I watched him as a pro and he got so shallow he couldn't break 75 . Never could believe someone so good could destroy his game so thoroughly . He is a great guy but boy could he play at 20 years old but lost it all getting flatter and flatter . I played at Wake Forest in 80s and later was a PGA club pro . The flatter and more shallow you get the less time and distance the clubhead gets on the target line . Love your videos .

I've watched golf lesson clips till my eyes almost bleed. After 25 years this is the best video I've EVER watched. I feel like I've FINALLY know how to swing a golf club. I'm a believer this makes so much sense. I only wish I'd of known this move years ago. Thanks Mike!!!!

I can appreciate that this move is not for everyone, but Mike's philosophy has proven to be the missing puzzle piece for me, erasing 18 months of absolutely ridiculous swing thoughts. Having pretty solid hand/eye and getting into the self taught RU-vid golf instructor world of hitting certain magical spots to achieve a sought after golf swing has been maddening. The Malaska Cam video of the hand/wrist path as well as a few other of his fundamental videos have proven to be the holy grail for me. Stack and Tilt made sense for me and felt repeatable and like I was using my body's full power potential. Not the case! So much tension, the difference is night and day. Unreal the rabbit holes we go down. Thank you Mike! Looking forward to getting down to Arizona for a lesson sometime in the near future.

This is too confusing. This tipping stuff doesn’t need to exist. Just get “the hanger” and that will set your hands.

Shouldn’t it be called the “Malaska Feel” instead of the “Malaska Move”?

Club shallowing has been way way oversold on social media!! Thanks for keeping it real Mike Malaska.👍🏼

Basically Malaska's concept is the best because Jack and Tiger, both play like that. With the club shaft in front of the body. That's the easiest most efficient way to play. 33 Majors combined. Period.

Just wow! I finally experienced the Malaska move at the range. I am completely in shock of what happened. I'm pretty sure I increased my clubhead speed by at least 10mph. It feels so natural like I'm throwing a ball from the normal upright position. Other teachers teach "a throw" but its more of an underhand throw. To me, this actuallly feels like you are throwing a pitch from your natural position to the side of your body (over the top from the inside). Mike is so dead on also, when he says that once your drop your hands down you can fire as hard as you want. This man has change my golf game forever. I always wondered why I couldn't hit my drives as far as I knew I could and it was because every teacher/golf pro told me that I needed to come from the inside. That same old in to out , in to out, in to out, blah blah blah.... This whole time I have been fighting the natural physics/momentum of the club head!!! My 8 iron replaced my 6 iron in distance with one damn move! Thanks a million Mike Malaska! Absolute genius!

Finally, an instructor that doesn't want me to drop the club in behind me. That whole "shallowing the shaft" thing has brought me nothing but trouble.

Complete game changer, tipping the club and rotating feels exactly like taking a hammer to a nail now. Shot first round under par two rounds after implementing this. Thank you Mike!

Mike is absolutely the best. I never heard of him before coming across one of his videos by chance 3 weeks ago. His lessons have instantly improved my game. I’m sure there may be some other instructors that are just as good, but Mike’s info is a gold mine!

This video should watched by every struggling golfer. I'm a 16 handicap aiming to get to single figures and have not just plateaued but got worse this year. After just one range session i shot 49/39 & 46/37...I rarely shoot under 40 for 9 holes, now I've done it twice in a week. Delivering the club this way has fixed my slice and early extension caused from the shallowing drills taught on other channels. NEVER going back.

I just had the "I can't believe it's this simple" moment after drilling this move with progressively faster swings. Getting the hands out front with this move is so much more natural feeling than other hands forward swing tips that I've tried. Hands out in front, turn as hard as you want, don't try to manipulate with your hands through impact. Amazing!!! Thank you!!!

This video and others on the “ Malaska Move” are a game changing revelation! Everyone who struggles with golf needs to watch this and Mike's other videos on the L to L drills and once you get it...WoW! The ball shoots off the face, with compression in an almost effortless manner. The hardest part I found was getting out of trying to muscle the club or over swinging. Just let the club run into the back of the ball and if you need more distance just club up. Your consistency will improve dramatically. I know mine did...dropped my handicap to a 9. Thanks Mike and Brendan.

I love Mike’s teaching. I am an old baseball player and have always believed the 2 swings to be identical...... the baseball swing is on horizontal plane and golf is a semi vertical plane. Mike has now validated what I “ felt.”
