Another trick for where to let your dough rise is in the oven with the light on. Creates just enough heat for the rise.

I LOVE this!! I grew up eating them this way, but some reason switched to the a pizza stone. I think I’ll switch back. Enjoy your za’!

I’ve been bbqing pizza for a few year now. I use a stone though. Comes out real consistent on the traeger.

I use to make my own dough all the time,but since I found 10 inch pita breads they work perfectly,not a big traditional pizza person but love the chicken bbq pizza and Hawaiian pizza.🔥👍

i just looked up a recipe for simple pizza dough and it was the same as yours, but it said to add a teaspoon of sugar to help feed the yeast and to make the yeast cream up. made the dough tonight to enjoy tomorrow after work

Great recipe again! Will definitely try. Looking at getting a flat top griddle do you have one of these in you Arsenal? Like to see a review on outdoor griddles???

The honey or sugar is to feed the yeast.

The yeast would eat the sugar so actually there would have been no sugar to burn! Sugar helps activate, bring alive the yeast!

If I recall correctly, the dough will rise more slowly without additional sugar, but it will rise.
