Here is the long awaited third part to the BBRae moments series. A note about The Beast Within: Though I could have used about five more minutes of material, I did not want to fill this video with only one episode.
It's moments like that, that make Beast Boy and Ravens relationship a much deeper connection than Terra ever had with BB. She relates to his problem of having a personal demon (in his case Beast), and help him see that there's nothing wrong with having that "thing inside him", just like Raven has with her rage (inherited by Trigon). It's about control, and this moment helps both of them grow together, which is ultimately what a relationship is supposed to be. Beast boy also made Raven see the positive of her birthday. Having friends that are glad to be friends with her, and that she plays a significant part in all her friends lives, allowing her to feel accepted and not alone. Those moments alone are much deeper, and stronger moments compared to the head over heels relationship beast boy had for Terra
Starfire: "Then who will shout the 'boyah' when we are victorious in battle?" Raven: "Who's gonna laugh when I make fun of Beast Boy?" Beast Boy: "Yeah!!!"
"You may not like your birthday, but we're all glad that you were born!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW! 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️😍❤️❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍 Beast Boy, that was so sweet!😊😊😊😊😊
elove japan notice that Beast Boy was the only one who cared enough to do some snooping and find out that her birthday was coming up? And set up the surprise too.
Angelo C Vlogs he's really the only one to make an effort to make her happy. Whenever she was hurt, or she was upset, beast boy was the one who made the effort to cheer her up. The other titans do what they can, but for the most part are afraid of the repercussions. Beast boy doesn't care, and helps her.
Beast Boy cares a lot about his fellow Titans because he considers them family. He makes up his lack of a brain with a big heart. And that's why we love him!
@@Xaforn I know. They'll be canon again in _Titans Academy_ written by Tim Scheridan and in K. Garcia & Gabriel Piccolo's "Beast Boy Loves Raven" graphic novel this fall!
@@TherealRNOwwfpooh see that’s how I always viewed it too. The Beast is his primal form, he views Raven as his mate. He will attack anyone and anything that stands in the way of him and his mate. It doesn’t matter if the people are on his side or not. He only ever lets that side out when Raven is in bad danger, to try and protect her. And yet people think there was no hinting of them being a couple or they definitely weren’t one.
@@kaylakhaos6739 Plus, for Raven's part, her various Emoticlone doppelgangers are drawn to the changeling the most. Happy likes his jokes (and even makes one herself [at his expense, no less], although the jab was meant to be a playful one & not meant to be taken seriously), Timid frets over how he perceives Raven & takes control over of Raven prime herself during the interrupted "I thought you didn't like me" moment from season 1 and likely resurfaced again in season 3 after Beast Boy put his foot in his mouth by calling Raven creepy in _Spellbound_ to once again show that Beast Boy's perception of Raven strongly affects her ("I'm not creepy, I'm just different!") and yet, it is in part because of this -- not to mention Beast Boy knowing about heartbreak himself with the Terra situation from both the watered-down _Judas Contract_ betrayal in season 2 as well as the series' final episode _Things Change_ when the resurrected Terra as a Marakami High Schoolgirl told him that the version of her he envisioned was nothing but a memory, so he needed to move on with his life without the geomancer in it -- that the changeling was able to somewhat mend Raven's broken heart after dread dragon Malchior's deception when Garfield reminded Raven that "You think you're alone Raven, but you're not", which got him a poignant hug from the emotionally vulnerable mystic (nonetheless, he honestly didn't know how to react to the rare display of affection from the dark girl, since her hugging him like she had just done was the first time we ever saw Raven willingly embrace anybody in the show of her own accord & he might also thought that making any sort of move could've been misconstrued as taking advantage of Raven in her broken state, which is also the reason he gave for turning down Passion's date offer after Raven's Emoticlones escaped from Raven's mind & found their way into the Titans' animated reality, because as much as he'd love to have accepted Passion's offer, he wisely refused, knowing Raven wasn't all together at that point and after becoming whole again, she could've reacted horribly if he had taken Passion up on her offer before Raven could mull over her feelings for her green-skinned teammate, seeking to assure herself of how she personally feels before coming back to Gar & asking him if he wanted to be together as a pair, at which point he could accept without any blowback repercussions outside of Raven's shadowy powers causing items to explode on account of the strong surge of emotion she'd be letting loose), Brave signifies Raven's protectiveness & only entered the picture when Beast Boy was snatched out of the air and found himself getting throttled while in the grip of the two-sided guardian statue Janus, Raven's unkempt lookalike in brown was depicted in the tie-in TTG comics issued between 2003-2008 (which were meant to continue the continuity of the 2003-2006 cartoon for a little while longer after its 2006 television cancellation) as getting caught scrounging in a dumpster by Starfire before the pungent Raven clone pulled out a discarded sock (the article of clothing was more than likely used in playing Stankball [after initially coming from Beast Boy's bedroom to start with] before getting thrown out once the game of Stankball had concluded) that would obviously join the stuffed chicken from season 1, the scuffed penny from _The End_ three-part finale of season 4, the direct-to-video _Trouble in Tokyo_ pictures (the photo set that showed Beast Boy risking harm by picking Raven's nose whilst she was asleep before she angrily physically assaulted him upon waking up for violating her personal space without permission) & other keepsake items between the Chromatically Challenged Couple that are probably hidden in Raven's closet & wouldn't see the light of day unless she wished to show Beast Boy her collection of items he had either given her himself or that her Emoticlones had brought back during their brief time outside of Raven's mind; An incident from the 42nd issue of the 2003-2008 TTG comics which was still mostly Gar's fault nonetheless, since the crazy situation happened because she entrusted him to babysit her surrogate "kids" Melvin, Timmy Tantrum & Teether when the 3 young heroes came by for a surprise visit, yet although Beast Boy did the _Mr. Mom_ thing as best he could when you factor in the circumstances involved, when giving genuine pony rides to the trio, their horseplay accidentally caused Raven's Meditation Mirror to fall from Raven's bedroom drawer to the floor before cracking down the middle, thusly causing Raven's Emoticlones to find themselves suddenly freed from their usually stoic host's mind, but after finding out about this, rather than seeing Raven lash out at Beast Boy as maybe anticipated, Melvin was able to save Beast Boy's proverbial bacon by calming Raven down enough so that Raven only gave the apologetic shapeshifter one of her powerful death-glares, as if to say that Gar wasn't entirely out of the metaphorical doghouse completely, only that the children being around had merely temporarily staved off his punishment for the time being, however his interaction with her lavender-cloaked Passion later on in the same issue had lessened Raven considerably by the time the Titans had reclaimed most of her rogue Emoticlones with the aid of Jericho -- yes, the Honorary Titan who's actually Slade's mute son -- with only one not accounted for, but unfortunately, it just had to be the most dangerous one of them all, that being Rage (the four-eyed Raven wearing the blood red cloak that not only represented Raven's human anger, hatred, malice & other strong negative emotions, but is simultaneously the living manifestation of the demonic heritage Raven genetically inherited from her literal devil of a dad Trigon the Terrible, given his numeric rank among the demons residing in religious conventional HELL & status as the demon put in charge of HELL's 8th gate by the father of all demons [and thereby, Raven's paternal granddaddy], Lucifer Morningstar, the historical "Fallen Angel" and the Biblical Satan of Holy Scripture, who had retired from his position as figurehead of HELL, subsequently prompting a civil war between the demons vying for the top spot, with eldest twin siblings Lord Satanus & his sister Blaze beheading Lucifer's right hand chain of command to take the throne for their own, much to their younger brother Trigon's chagrin, since he was summoned to Earth by The Church of Blood cult of devil worshippers when the takeover of HELL took place and we all know what happened after Trigon was summoned to Earth by the satanic cult, that being the series of events in the 1980's comics which begot Raven's creation as Trigon's only daughter & his firstborn child that survived, with her 6 half-brothers sired from Trigon's tryst with the historically infamous Greek carrier of chaos Pandora following years later), adorkable Knowledge no doubt having a recorded memory of every interaction the Chromatically Challenged Couple ever had together in her library realm that would have those things Raven willingly allows people to know about her in front but would certainly have its standalone restricted section in the back that would contain Raven's more audaciously salacious thoughts in some form or fashion, and coy Passion clearly being proof positive that Raven harbors romantic feelings for the changeling (to be fair, this came upon the heels of the lavender-scented representative of Raven's romantic side ruining things for good with the "Goth Boy" from _Sisters_ by inadvertently publicly embarrassing him in front of his fellow cast members/coworkers, but her slightly dampened mood brightened mere moments later when she encountered Beast Boy for the first time, yet she already seemed to know him all the same [even if they hadn't interacted in the _Nevermore_ episode from season 1 when Raven summoned all of her remaining Emoticlones sans Rage to become purified White Lotus Raven], with her fairly quickly brazenly flirting with him teasingly & even calling him "Beastie Boo" as an affectionate 'pet name').
Nobody notices this much but in almost every episode he’s the first person to protect her and same vice versa. They have a tendency to protect the other if the other is in danger and I find that cute. They look out for another and it shows they care a lot bout another. And raven cares a lot about bb’s opinion of her which mean she does respect him to a certain extent
Erin Culotta Yup, that's why everytime they have a deep conversation about each other, she enjoys it. And in a sense, that moment was also her molding him into a man that she could potentially be romantically involved with. Hence in spellbound, that moment was her expressing her appreciation for him being in her life.
@@joshhassan5270 The Beast Within is the season 3 episode wherein BB transforms into a primal WereBeast to guard his territory (also transfigured villain Adonis had infiltrated Titans Tower) & protect his MATE (Raven, who was unconscious/in a healing coma) from his rival (aforementioned baddie Adonis, who implicitly threatened to rape Raven earlier during the fracas to kick off the episode).
The Beast Within has to be one of my favorite episodes of Teen Titans! That episode hit me so hard throughout the whole thing...it’s one of the episodes that I could watch over and over again and still feel the same emotions that I did the first time watching it!
Chhun SP hey bro Robin is for starfire is been comfired there together in the movie trouble in Tokyo they kiss then bbscome a couple raven and beastboy is gonna be together I HOPE there gonna be together if terra is out of the way
Chhun SP it doesn't matter what relationship she has her powers over react to emotion if she has any relationship show most likely accidentally kill the person involved
"The Beast Within" had a lot of "getting crap past the radar". He was treating Raven like an animal would view its mate. And I wonder how Tara Strong felt about the BBRae ship.
@@murubala8962 One of us, you mean, since most commenting here & the fandom's majority - and the vAs themselves, Tara Strong & Greg Cipes, too - wave the flag for "Beastie Boo" (pet name for Gar/BB given by Raven's Passion Emoticlone in TTG #42 "Pieces of Me") & _mama_ Rae-Bae. However, the fact you used them instead of us indicates you might not be a BB X Rae/Raveast/Garchel shipper, even if you might lend support to most pairings.
@@murubala8962 We can only hope. I mean, the vAs credibility is on the line, since they themselves promised a season 6 with canon BBXRae in it if TTG to the Movies & TTG VS TT did well, which they did, so it better happen, else they would've let down the majority of the TT fandom.
Beast Boy is soo Mikey! Both share the same voice actors, the immature, the prankster and the youngest in the group. Raven is kinda similar to Raph as both of them enjoy giving sarcastic remarks and enjoys hitting Beast Boy and Mikey
I've been thinking that if they ever did a Turtles/Titans crossover (which would be awesome), Mikey and Beast Boy would get along instantly. The fact they have the same voice actor is just icing on the cake.
God if they paid attention and know a little about animals they would know bb wasnt hurting raven 1: bb had the sruff it is the back of the neck where extra skin is on an animal its the body part parent animals would hold their babies to control them carry them 2: when bb set her down when they first found them he did is so gently it should be obvious he didnt wanna hurt her and thanks for scaring him telling him she was in his mouth she wasnt her clothes was
@@Star-nm3rp plus she wasnt even injured If he was attacking her with his teeth she would you know be hurt by said teeth in the show they do show red Marks for when they are bruised and they are not afraid of ripping up ravens close till she just wearing a bikini
Now I'll admit I'll always be a bbrae fan but she honestly is meant to be with beast boy which is connon too in the comics which they eventually get married after first breaking up in the comics because Raven was scared of hurting Raven she left him for a period and when they get back together and eventually have a baby together. I believe at the end of season 5 should of ended with beast boy sad coming back to Titans tower where Raven sees how hurt he is since she's an emphasis and he explains how Terra treated him and this event Sparks the relationship of bbrae with beast boy admitting he always had feeling for her and she did to ending season 5 with them now dating and kissing opening up a season 6. once Raven could even read beast boys mind she can realized how he was almost killed by his parents as a young child which caused him to have green skin and the ability to turn into any animal now being a outcast like Raven was and an orphan. There's so much I can go on about how Raven is truly meant for beast boy and he's the comic relief that sadly the comics and even dare I say go sadly shows somewhat of their love. Hopefully they will make a season 6 of the original teen Titans and show Ravens love towards beast boy. Which I'm sure would be my dream and others and ttg can go off the air with teen Titans season 6 back with bbrae beginning the series off with bb sad from Terra so Raven conforts beast boy which begin there relationship. I hope to see this one day maybe they might surprise us for now we got teen Titans go bbrae probably the best episode. Until they bring back season 6 with bbrae at least ttg made a bbrae episode which even though I hate that's probably the best episode.
Yes, they do. It was/is comic canon, is canon on TTG, would've been canon in this show had the writers gotten their way, and is canon to the voice actors Tara Strong & Greg Cipes themselves.
Kenneth Brown well someone didn't do their research and their bean of a brain wanted to insult people. Learn better insults , Don't be lazy and do your research
I grew to be ‘a bit’ like Raven. Her persona is interesting and she evolves from her attachment with the Titans. They made her feel welcome and she depends on them eventually. Having friends can be the best thing for everyone, expecially real ones like them expecially Beast Boy and even their leader, Robin.
Beast Boy and Robin are the most experienced Titans due to the fact they’ve been fighting evil before the Titans were formed which makes them veteran heroes.
That's because Dick and Raven founded the team in the comic book and are very close, having a deep sibling bond, where Robin said it of Raven, "She's the sister I never had."
+Unicornalexa no because in every season all but raven are the same age. so if raven was 14 at first she would be 15 after season 4 and the rest would be the same.
