Martell is potentially one of the most foolish brothas around in the last two decades. He literally had a Queen, in every sense of the word; by definition, AND, according to 'The Culture'. On top of that, he is singlehandedly turning an ideal post married situation into something terrible. (she didn't ask for child support, AND, she gave him joint custody)! Martell, despite all that he has going for him, seems to have a void within him that he can't fill (this one of the reasons why faith in and of itself, helps the human condition). From what is being shared, it appears as if he was able to overcome criminal issues, never really had professional credibility, and he had absolutely no work ethic. Yet, he was still 'covered'. He thought she was supposed to give him money to keep up appearances and take care of his second family. Then she's telling the truth, which makes him look bad. He could have done the same but he can’t pass a builders test. When she left him to his own devices he couldn’t do nothing because the lie he was trying to make everybody believe that he was the brains and Mel was the face got exposed when they got divorced. Didn’t Martell play football from childhood to college? Just like you said to Monique, they are used to being coached and catered to and expect everyone to do the same for them. Martell is no different. Melody was his life coach after football and now that she’s not there he is spiraling. You hit the nail on the head with that analogy.

I’m just going to say this… WHY is father of the universe only wanting custody of 4 out of 5 children 🤔 It’s very clear you need to be getting custody of the 5th child.
