Yeah but sadly this game has push block. So her crazy insane corner pressure is a little weaker since people just push block 90% of the time. But it doesn't mean she isn't strong!

you can fix the block push with your assist most of the time and still being able to do pretty decent pressure unless they do double block push O.o

Rhannmah yeah her George tag pressure is actually pretty strong. It takes practice to get the timing for each partner, but once you learn the timing it’s a free oki set up! If you tag wrong though you’ll leave a gap where the opponent can DP for free

Glad the video could be of help! Her wind mechanic has gotten "easier" but in it's simplicity she lost A LOT of control. Accidental wind is very common for me right now and I'm working on it. If you try to go for an Oki set up, but waste your wind right as the opponent is rising, you lose your wake up instant over head :/. It's just a matter of doing clean inputs. Overall Rachel is incredibly powerful.

Yeah i watched some of Karudas gameplay he’s definitely leaning towards an aggressive play style with jump in j3A to close gaps. She’s a fun character to learn and it’s rewarding !

Karuda definitely inspired me. I'm loving Linne/Rachel. I'm using Rachel's forward tag with Linne's Kuugas to zone while trying to get in. Then with a setup field allow Rachel's back tag to harrass long range.

Carrot Of Doom yes you essentially just hold forward! A lot of characters you can go without it. But linne is one where you have to do it

Paradise Prime a lot of it comes down to situational awareness. Yu narukami is probably the biggest culprit to use full screen distortions. If you know your opponent is looking for a full screen punish, whiff a normal like 4A and bait them into using it. Chances are they’re not looking to see you used a lobelia instead they’re reacting to any movement. I’ve done this several times against high level Yu players. Whiff a normal and they’ll just throw out full screen super. Aside from that, there is little you can do to prevent it from happening unless you go in and aggress. It just comes down to having the awareness that the opponent has distortion in his pocket. Toss out lobelias when it’s safe like if theyre jumping in the air or blocking Sorry don’t know if that helped much

So unfortunately, the only way to learn TK iris, or TK anything for that matter is to do the motion over and over (2147B or 2148B). That being said, if you're having a specific problem, as in not getting it low enough, that means you're pressing B too late. So there can be 3 main situations that let you know you messed up. 1) Rachel does a normal Iris on the ground ----- you pressed B too early 2) Rachel does iris in the air, but kinda high ---- you pressed B too late 3) Rachel doesn't do Iris at all and just flies into the air doing jB ----- you either messed up the 214 motion, or pressed B super late. You'll know you did it right when she barely comes off the ground. Practice TK iris on block first. Have sandbag yukiko block, then do 5A > TK Iris...5A> TK Iris. Do that over and over. The animation from the 5A will give you a little buffer window that is more lenient to errors. You also don't need a lobelia for this. You can just do the empty iris. Another thing is if you're a controller player, this is possible on the D-Pad, very much possible (used to be a pad warrior), it might be easier to do on the Analog stick, just roll the stick. It's not something I recommend for everyone, but when I was a pad warrior I used to switch between D-pad and analogue for tough inputs. If you're on stick, just roll the stick doing a quarter circle into a jump.

idkmyname91 it’s very much character dependent. It was a detail I forgot to explain. Characters like like Gord and Tager you have to hit them twice. It’s more characters than you would think. It’s also height dependent as well. Characters like Chie it’s height dependent. It’s something you’ll get a feel for over time

AmaneBlack so if you’re talking about the 2C 236A8 microstep 5A, the game has auto run, so if you just hold forward between 236A8 and 5A you’ll get a small dash. The timing isn’t too strict IMO. And in the corner after 5BBB6 same thing. Hold forward. Let the dash handle itself and just time the 5A it should work out

LS TheProdigy yes actually! I was confident putting out a Rachel video because I’ve played Rachel for years. Es not so much. But I’ve been playing her nonstop in BBTag so she’ll definitely be getting love next, probably closer to launch. I want to make sure my facts are straight with her. But I do want to release it before launch!

Hold forward when you want to micro dash, it will handle itself. The game has auto run, so when you hold forward the characters will run. Therefore if you just hold forward when you want to Microdash and press 5A, she will do it with you having to think about it. This holds true for many characters. So after 5BBB6 just keep holding forward. Should work fine. Let me know!

Waifu Lover thank you for the feedback! Yeah the numpad notations take time to get used to. I could have done the traditional notation like quarter circle forward etc. in retrospect I should have done both and I’ll keep that in mind! Maybe add it to the description. Numpad notation is common for anime fighters and also other games which is why I chose it. It can be confusing at first. Once you’re used to it it allows for quick short hand notation and reading

No her only real anti air is her DP, and sometimes the cat chair if you back it up with an assist call. Other than that if you didn't catch them jumping in with a Lobelia she doesn't have much besides the stuff mentioned. It's quite frustrating as in her BB games she had the cat punch which is probably one of the best anti airs in the game. Really sad. But I understand, if Rachel had Cat Punch she'd be way too strong. What I'll probably start doing is catchair into assist, since her catchair has armor. We'll see. Her jB is a good air to air though if they're above you so if you have a Yu player that's just hoping around you can jB counter hit his jC for example

So it depends on what you want to end your combo on. Are you looking for maximum damage, are you looking to set up a tag-in, are you trying to set up for Rachel, do you have lobelias. It also depends on what was your starting hit, is your assist ready, and sometimes how close/far you are from your opponent. You have access to slightly different routes depending if the combo started with 5A 2A or jA. That being said, you ideally want to have a combo ender that will lead to some kind of set up or advantage. As of right now, 2C > 236B is a good place to end your combos. It creates space for Rachel and places a Lobelia on the opponent. The combos I gave are examples of different combos she is capable of. For starting out, just have one go to combo... I recommend the 5AA 5BB 236B8 starter for mid screen (#4). There is a more optimized variant out where they get another 236B8 which isn't any harder to do. I'm rambling. Deciding on a combo ultimately falls into using a combo that is consistent for you to use. So I would say start with #4 mid screen (I think it's the easiest midscreen) and for the corner I do a different combo now that is easier which is 5AA 5BBB6 5A 5BB 236B9 5B j.AA j.AC 2C 236A. Just preference. People are still optimizing combos. Let me know if I didn't answer your questions :'(

N B Someone actually used that team in a tournament but i can’t remember who it was. But the way it worked was Linne was the aggressive in your face character and when she took damage, he’d switch to Rachel to slow it down and zone. Overall they work well together judging by the gameplay

I wish I could say she could can use her normals. This game has too many big normals and she doesn't have her mobility. So no, I wouldn't try to Brawl with Yu or Ruby for example. But that's just me

Central Fiction is amazing. But it is a relatively dying game because of BBTag. You can still go online and find matches, but BBTag is more like a spin off than another main blazblue game. They play similar but they're very much different. I would say this from my personal experience, the best time to get into any fighting game is RIGHT when it comes out. Central fiction has some time out so the people you'll find online are mostly veterans. BBTag will be brand new, new people, and it's lined up for EVO so there are eyes on the game. It's the best time for learning a game. Central fiction is an AMAZING game, so if you like it play it. But because of BBTag CF will mainly be played by the devoted fans. However do your research!!!
