Not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can watch all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
Cool thing about crash assault (5C). ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS at least ATTEMPT to get marvelous. The reason why is that getting a marvelous will give you a free bar for your skill gauge, excellent will give you around 80% of a bar while good will only give you around 15%. Free damage plus free meter? Yes please always go for it
Wow! Some of these properties seem useful to know about. Namely that reversals can't be blocked while jumping, the invincible backdashes, and the unrecoverable damage from EX moves.
As for whats next on Dock: Revised DBFZ assist tier list is next! There will probably be a bunch out of e3 so expect appropriate videos for whatever incoming for that, and reminder Summit of Power is this weekend as well!
One thing I did find out that the game doesn't really cover (as far as I know) is that characters do carry over elements from their games, both good and bad. For example, UNIELst characters have unique air dashing and P4 characters will lose a bit of health if their Personas get hit.
Good vid, thanks. Plink tag & dealing w/character switch was great, as was the rest. I skipped DBFZ, but hope to start playing this game tomorrow. Looking forward to vs. eventually.
input display will be on for combos now I got a real training mode to work with, although for these kinda videos they just distract me while I talk for the most part.
Tager has quite a weird countermeasure (Wedge Catapult) for partner entrance after a downed enemy (and maybe burst tags if it's normal cancellable into it but I haven't confirmed it yet).
I'm a BB player and also FighterZ at times, but that games is really confusing at times. I like it - and I need to work hard to get better, which I admit caught me off guard, because I play a lot of BB, I avoid playing my main Jin because I don't want to get the wrong habits when I switch back to BB, but I'm disappointed they removed some key moves for Noel. I'm still gonna main her in it, but it's not as easy to shift from BB to this game, I'm actually surprised. Great tips though now I'm more familiar with some mechanics, it also explains somewhere I got beat up but didn't comprehend how until now - so thanks!
unknown, right now waiting til e3 and various trailers (like mk, or new soul calibur chars) to see what future rooflemonkeys have in hold. I don't wanna make a raiden one, then raiden has a brand new look in mk!
im thinking of picking this game up (mostly because it looks fun and also because i want to know where your god is when you die) so hopefully your videos can help me decide if i should get this or not edit: lmao the game is 60% off as of right now im gonna get it either way
The one issue I've got is that I don't have a connection to most of the characters; I know the RWBY crew, a couple of BlazBlue characters, and... that's it. Is this game still worth it even if I know so few of the characters?
When it comes to bursting, you are also able to bait it from your opponent. Some characters have jump cancelable moves. When practicing block strings for pressuring, make it a habit to jump out every couple of hits on block to force a burst and punish with an assist. It's a powerful mix up/mind game.
I'm so glad you're covering this game, Rooflemonger. Will we be seeing more combo and character guides for the cast moving forward? Is it too early for a tier list?
yep combos and the like soon, hopefully at least 1 hopefully 2 combo guides out before weekends over. As for tier list I wil lstraight up admit I am not very good at the game right now so I gotta get better before i can assess stuff.
