Part 1 of our 9 day overloading trip around southern British Columbia in August of 2020. In this video we start the trip by heading from Vancouver Island to the Sunshine Coast where we meet up with some good friends, and spend a weekend by a lake in the hills above Halfmoon Bay.

Just found you and subbed. My dog also knows as soon as we're packing to go camping. He watches us with a look of concern. First chance he gets he jumps into the back seat of the car and just hangs out there, even if it's an hour before departure and the door is wide open. The FOMO is strong with this one.

Hahaha.... not to spoil the surprise but day 9 certainly wasn’t gourmet... our friend Nick is a trained chef, so once we left them on the Sunshine Coast things got much more basic.
