Wonder why 771ap+84human dam+10addon=865 in total could break 930 damage reduction (before calculated 30% bonus reduction for 401dp up)? Even with slixir rotation, it only ignores 20 damage reduction
Do high end dr players have to swap to evasion now? This has felt strange for a long time. Unjustified damage from low end gear against good DR armor causing everyone to play "teleport" builds. Play for 2 months? you easily kill 309/444 player.
that's why i swaped to evasion awk wizard, on DR even with mana shield and PA i died too fast, on evasion i can last a bit while my teleport is on cooldown, and the best part, wizard have no evasion passives or should be build evasion, but still better against the DR stacked drakania meta(and pray they have no acc)
Either damage reduction cap needs to be set higher or dr needs to be more efficient. I’m 401dp and still get one comboed by people that’s played the game for a month and is sitting at 376ap.
dp is not definiton of damage reduction, you can have 401 dp with 400 dr or you can have 401 dp with 500+ dr. dp = defense point that ends on 401 with %30 reduction bonus dr = damage reduction stat that exist inner on your gear or consumables etc. without any cap
This may not be the place for the rant but I feel like succession warrior still needs small buffs we don`t have a big burst heal like awake. Sometimes we ether have to turtle up or be a wall because our movement has long cooldowns and are mostly frontal so people have kills that cc us thru it and no cc on earth tremor. I honestly feel like if they buffed Prime: Medi it would make us better we are a tank spec mean while valk, S guardian has a big burst heal S Nova does not have a big one but she has minions that cc you for free idk the only thing Succession warrior has going for it as a tank spec is how protected it is while in a fight and has the highest DR values
Wai till he learn eva work ok block too meaning eva work better for trade and on ground and help the block too, where dr basically do nothing more than block and trade only if 700 dr + and using a dk which is the class who has the lowest damage ratio to any other class. Source Black desert foundry
this is from the one who understande the bdo's combat. Being CCed on the ground is your mistake in PVP cause it's mean u got cc then it's enemy's timing to burst on your mistake, but with all perfect rotation of protection skill with this DR lt's mean YOU ARE DEMIGOD TANKER

it's not about dr stat, it's about bs modifiers some classes got after reboot. bdo community askin for buff to dr caps but it shouldn't be, classes like zerker, drakania or valk gonna be literally immortal with able to reach insane damage. dr and evasion already balanced, broken thing is skill damage modifiers and they dont want to fix it, they wanna create moba-like meta system but it doesnt fit to mmorpg.
