I didn't do any nodewar for years and I was wondering what was wrong with the changes from the point of view of pvp players. The video was very simple, well explained and to the point. Thank you.
Allowing guilds to capture mutliple forts for more rewards while risking thinning out their numbers is a take I have not heard yet. I think that is a great idea.
Nice in theory but it's not gonna happen, forts are usually far away from each other and if you have idk half your people defending a fort you're just gonna get zerged
I get the feeling that it's easier to step into this scene now, though personally I still haven't touched Nodewar since I joined back in early 2021, someday surely !
Giving my perspective as someone who just started PvP in BDO after being a 700 gs gearlet - I feel like the new NW is helpful for newer guilds to get into node war. My guild just recently doing NW's solo, and the new system helps us get adjusted with macro alongside everyone else.
It's been a few years since I have actively participated in nodewars, mostly due to the two hours of length you would have to sometimes sit through. Although the new system seems to have its flaws I do think the general idea of this 'less committing' style of fights is refreshing, especially for the non-hardcore pvp fans out there. I do wish they would add at least a small reward for those guilds that actively participate in fights (100 k/d) but fail to concur any nodes in a nodewar, otherwise I fear it could scare off less experienced guilds or players from participating in fights.
I really dont like alliances but its tough to bring 30+ players as a PvX guild while we do love pvp we just dont have the numbers especially at the times these are :(
Im carried ill win! Good suggestion. Though I think having all forts spawn would lead to diplomacy as smaller guilds would have to coordinate attacks against the big strong guild which I don't think is bad but some might.
