I've tried to send people on RU-vid the original Tumblr clip before, but RU-vid always takes it down for some reason :/ So I finally uploaded it here! If you want to find the og stream, you probably won't because Bdubs streams on RU-vid and you need a membership to watch them.

I know this is kinda late, but here’s what shipping for this fandom really is. 99% of the time, they are not shipping the irl people together but rather the characters they play. Most people are able to separate the character from the actor when it comes to shipping. However, not all ships are done romantically, you have platonic (non romantic) ones too. It’s kinda like taking characters from a movie and saying they should’ve been together. You are not shipping the actors themselves, but you are shipping the characters they played. Yes there are some people (that last 1%) who will be weird and go as far as shipping the actual actors/creators of the characters they play. I hope this cleared things up a bit.

Haha, nice one! I have been meaning to post this after being requested to in the r/ethoslab subreddit weeks ago but I forgot about doing it. Glad you unknowingly picked up my slack. It hit the algorithm and someone posted to it the sub today which is how I found this. I uploaded a much longer version with context to my channel with the chat reactions on the side. I know that fans want to see everything and paywall sucks. :( And I think it's been plenty of time since the stream that it's okay to upload a few minutes of a 4 hour stream. (Though as I state in my descriptions I will take it down if requested by the hermit without any issue.)

@@Doctorrr_There's one, if I remember correctly, where a meter crashes into Hermitcraft and everyone becomes mutated, expect for Joe I think. Cleo slowly turns into a tree. And Etho has wolf ears and a wolf tail that won't stop growing. And of course there was the one where Zedaph sets off an experiment that turns all the Hermits into toddlers expect for Xisuma who has to take care of them all and try to get them back to normal. And these are like full length long books, I think the meter one is like at 70 somethin' chapters by now!

Once upon a time, somehow hermitcraft/life series fans were able to keep their fan subtwitter a secret (how, idk, but something to do with hashtags I think). One day someone accidentally tagged Bdubs in some art, he found the entire fan base and began telling all the hermits about them. So when he told Etho, Etho must have found some very interesting fan art, lol. Fans were very much in (playful) distress about being discovered

Well, I've never really seen anyone ship the IRL people (outside of jokes). Most of the things you'll see are of their characters, which, when it comes to Minecraft role play it's sometimes hard to separate character from the creator, but yeah, the characters are partly shipped because Etho and Bdubs are such good friends IRL ^-^
