Age discrimination forced me into early retirement - the industry lost a wealth of knowledge that was 'economically' priced, loyal & DEPENDALBLE! #ProjectManager #GlobalProjects
Clients value bargains over craftsmanship. Everyone looking for TEMU prices and expect renaissance man level work. Damn shame it all comes down to bottom line.
They need an affordable home, security, and a coach. Theres more to a person and a job, than just doing the job. Health, diet, support, teamwork, commaraderie. All cornerstones to endure lifes tests. Family , not just bodies on jobs, numbers, and robots
I spent two years working for a well known general contractor/project management ONLY company's self-perform department (were carpenters who go after any scope of work and deficiencies not coved by the other subs). I was one of the first Carpenters there (as an apprentice for two years) until now, I left to work on my personal construction projects. But I saw my boss scale the self-perform very well, he brought in all the people you said in the same order. I'm more attracted to residential construction, this was a major commercial GC. Dose you course cover how to start the company from square one?
Hey Antoni. Yes I work with brand new guys, and also guys doing several million per year. The journey is the same for everyone, just everyone is at a different place in the journey. Get the trial and start joining our weekly coaching calls. Here is the link: iambuilders.com/8fc
Let's be honest here, the labour company you are referring to most likely hired immigrant temporary workers for really cheap and subbed them out. Not cool
The truth is most construction is performed by immigrants. But you don’t need to do thiswith only immigrants, you can do this with anyone that will have a small crew.
Hello. I’m not too familiar with the construction market in South Africa. I imagine it must be similar to the United States in terms of winning projects.
I want to join your school but I am in Canada. Does everything you teach apply here? I need to know paper work and how to get financing. How to get paid and how does the process work ect. I am brand new like just got my gst# but currently work full time for a commercial drywall contractor. I’m serious and want to grow my own business with your help please.
I contacted your company 2 times but had no luck talking to you. I have my estimators, but I have problem winning projects. May be I need help the way I present the estimate. But again, not luck with your team members.
Did I say that in the video? Lol. When you’re competing for smaller jobs, you can typically run those jobs using cash, and so can the cheap labor guys. When you give yourself a promotion and start going after $200K+ contracts, the only companies that can compete at that level are companies that have established businesses, reputations, lines of credit, etc. Try competing for bigger jobs.
