For 22 years I spent life away from God. Grew up in a pretty rough/violent family. Got bullied all the time. Had to drop out of university that I worked my whole life to get into. Became a thief and a drug addict. Got divine revelation, ignored it, continued to tread down the path of hell. Got a gruesome disease. I was at a point where I was so resentful against God - but I woke up in the morning one day. I had nothing and no one. I decided to get sober and change my life toward God. That was 5 months ago. The tragic beauty of going through these hellish trials is that at the other end I found God. All the nights I cried, all the hellish hours spent in agony brought me to Him - which, friends, I stress in all seriousness, is the most precious gift of all. Although I am unworthy - a mere sinner - God still had a plan for me, and he's keeping me sober one day at a time. Do not give up on God. Love brother Mari ❤️ keep doing God's work.

I stopped going to a "church building" nearly 5 years ago. My husband and I Bible study and pray at home. Plus, I'm a member of an online prayer group, which I love. We are the church, the Body of Christ, not a building! Whatever my Jesus lays on my heart to do, to take the Gospel out into my community, I do with a humble and willing heart. Jesus is my heart, my life, I am nothing without Him. He is my first love. I magnify Your Holy Name my King 🙏🙌🙏
My wife and I visited numerous congregations in the town that we currently live in. They were all stuck in the marketplace religion. We settled on one and after almost ten years of zero spiritual growth , we left and now gather with others that are like minded. Praise God that He freed us from the religious swamp to a life of reliance on Him!
@@ricksteen935 , we had been attending the Pentecostal Church/ Assemblies of God, and during the last service, the pastor announced that they were now going to be performing a special service for the Alphabet members in attendance, and if anyone wanted to leave because it wasn't going to be very spiritual, now was the time...then in strolled a group of Drag Queens...I looked at my wife and daughter, and we departed, never to return... from the moment we arrived near our car, it was evident that this was a regular service conducted during off hours,in order to hide this from the congregation. Most of the flock chose to remain.

He'll have a plan, he'll have a reason to give you something, or he will give you a gift. If it will make you weaker, he WON'T give you what you want if you are in Christ. As an American, I agree. A lot of preachers here that seem like snake oil salesmen. Preach humility and being humble, yet they have million dollar churches with fancy suits. I’m not Orthodox, I’m Non-Denominational. I love the Bishop’s words, he speaks truthfully and boldly. We need more teachers like him.

I never forget that. I used to do my tidings it wasn't much but whatever I could afford. So I need help, they told I have to become a member. So I told them where in the Bible it say that . I even told them that if it's in the Bible I will come to this church every Sunday or whatever they have I'll be there . The only thing I got I have to go I'm very busy we don't have time for this that's the answer I got. There is so many churches that I told off and ask them where does it say in the Bible? Never got an answer. There's so many things that I could tell you about all these churches and I went to and I told them . One Church they were going to help me to get furniture cuz I moved into apartment with nothing. Well it was a broken promise. They never help me so I don't go to know churches and I do not trust churches or the pastors or the preachers cuz they all lied to me.

Actually it’s the love of money. Money is good and it’s a resource to be used wisely. But when you put it above our love for God and others, then it becomes an issue.

Just like a normal father on earth wants his children to be blessed and to be healthy and without need.
