Can’t say much more than the two above me. Interested in seeing if it may fit a 2017. The dealer changed it out once when the screen kept freezing up. (Original one and it is working fine for now)
My 2023 AT4 has the big screen... you're going to fall in love once you have it installed. I've liked the green wrap since the day it was installed and I'll mourn its removal.. 😪😪😪
I received my AuCar screen for my 2020 Silverado, last week. Installed it over the weekend. Easy install and great product, so far. Looks amazing, too. Definitely modernized my interior.
Nice, Don! a re-wrap would be an interesting watch. I've tried three different screen replacements on my 2017 Silverado 1500 and hated them all (gave 'em away). Then, I found the 14" screen in your video (maybe from a different seller, mine was from AutoTec Pro) and it's 10X better than the previous ones - truly plug and play - after I put everything back together from the previous installs.
I wonder if it would look good if the torn part of the wrap was replaced with gloss black. As in, the entire lower bumper rewrapped in all black, with black also extending from the outer edge of the fog lights to the fenders on the upper bumper cover, encompassing the damaged area.
I did something kinda similar to my front bumper on my new Tahoe. I saw the pile of metal in my front camera and thought I could cut my wheels sharp enough to miss them but no luck, hit them hard and cut my bumper. Just another expensive mistake!!
I been looking at these and there’s no one in RU-vid that’s installed one without complaining about them! Looking forward to your video and review, what inch did you go with 7 or 8? My truck is a 2021 gmc sierra 1500 at4
@@Donslife yeah all the reviews talk about how buggy the screens can be. Hopefully this one is legit and if you like it I’ll definitely order mine asap!
Is your GMC AT4 have the Factory BOSE System in it? I will be curious if this new Android System will improve the quality of the Stereo Output over the GM Factory System. My truck has the Upgrade system, but not the Bose system. The Quality of sound is at it's best a "Okay" quality. A friend who has the Bose in his Truck is really not any better. I have noticed of the GM System if you use the fader and listen to the rear speakers only, they are really poor sounding and that is in My Truck and the Truck with Bose. Can't wait to see this install of the AuCar Android and let you be the Ginny Pig before I change out mine. Last question on your AT4, does your Truck have the 360 degree camera system? I have read where the AuCar will work with all factory equipment, great. But in the real world, we will see. If you don't have the 360 degree Camera System, might you be inclined to add a Front View Camera for Parking situations? I don't have the Front Camera on my 2019 Silverado, but would like to install one, current Infotainment System would not support a front camera. If you have a list of projects to do for the AT4, might I suggest Surround or Front Camera's? Enjoy the Rally.
