Unfortunately, the remake version is literally only less than one minute long and hardly any of it is actually sung. It's too bad, because Chiwitel Ejiofor actually sounded great in it, but they cut the song down to almost nothing.

That moment when a fan remakes the song better than Disney themselves. (Yeah I was disappointed by the 2019 version)

I had played Scar in a school production once, and since Be Prepared was, and always will be, my favorite villain song, I can hear and sing along with this version.

How I would have done the 2019 rendition. SCAR: “Mufasa is yesterday’s message... a clapped-out, distracted regime; whose failings undoubtedly presage, the need for a different dream. Yes leonine times are a-changin’, which means Hyenas must, too. But *my* vision is clear, and wide-ranging, and even encompasses you. So prepare for the chance of a lifetime! Prepare for magnificent news! A shining new era is approaching nearer. And where do you feature? Let me be your teacher! For I know it sounds sordid, but you’ll be rewarded, when I’ve finally been given my dues! My teeth and ambitions are bared! Be prepared.” SHENZI: “I never thought lions essential... they’re vile, and unspeakably vain. But perhaps there’s a glimmer of potential, when they acknowledge our vision and brain. TLK soundtrack has always been among my favourites, I always enjoy it. Your version has just blown my mind. It gave me chills. Great.

Wow.... This really is EPIC!! I'm doing "the lion King" For my theatre!!

They should have done something like this for the gorge stampede scene. It would fit so well because this is Scars theme song. The gorge scene is where he was at his peak as the main antagonist. Playing his theme song during that would fit so well.

The live action film version should have sounded like this!!!! That would’ve been so awesome!!!!

I love this channel! Great work! I just found out a few minutes ago that this song ISN’T even in the Lion King remake and I’m pretty sure I want to cry about it... Someone needs to get this cover to Disney and show them not only why this song should have been in the new movie but also why the creator of this channel needs to be associated with all future Disney remakes!!

I'd truly have to say Hans Zimmer approves of this recreated version, as he was the original composer for the animated movie. He gave us the animated version while this is certainly a more epic version of that awesome track. (:

Anyone else here reimagining the battle between Scar and Simba? I don't know how L'Orchestra made Hans Zimmer's score more powerful, but I loved what I heard.

Even though it's a villain song, I consider 1994 as one of the best songs sung by an antagonist.

I am EPICALLY astounded at the level of talent this orchestra has put forth so far! I just discovered this orchestra today! L'ORCHESTRA CINEMATIQUE: I am BEYOND impressed with EVERY piece of music you guys have covered so far!! Wow!! It's very rare that I desire to listen to an entire album or a list all the way through without skipping a track. I have been delightfully surprised with your creative approach to your soundtrack covers and Christmas music! I am usually very hesitant to listen to covers like these because there are many times where they are sadly butchered. Not with this orchestra! Hans Zimmer is one of my very favourite composers, and at first I was a bit nervous to hear his work being covered...Being impressed with what I've been hearing so far with all other pieces, I gave it a try! In my opinion, it was well done! You guys definitely made it your own, but you respectfully kept the integrity of the original piece-- Well Done! As far as the Christmas music goes and other tracks, I feel the same..Way to go! I look forward to hearing more of what your orchestra is going to produce!! I'm already a fan! This is the best lion king remix out there, you should do other Disney remixes, especially songs sung by villains. Or big themes like Pirates of the Caribbean/Nightmare before Christmas etc. Keep up the awesome work!
