The problem is that dak is a stat padder. When the game is out of hand, he gets numbers. He can't beat good teams and when you make it to the playoffs, there won't be any 1-8 teams. He doesnt show up in the playoffs plain and simple. Paying dak for his "potential" no longer works. You pay him, being 8 years in, on what hes done and what he has done is look really bad in the playoffs!

Dak Prescott has 202 Career regular season TDs -157 TDs or 73% were against teams with losing records. 25% of his TDs are just against the Commanders and Giants. Dak PADscott is not ever winning a big game for the Cowboys.
I'm a dak fan and the first 3 playoffs games fak played in he was actually good and if they lost it was a team thing. I do think now there might be somthing there because of the pressure in dallas
Put Dak on Chiefs, Andy Reid would be a choker in big games like he was with Eagles. When Reid thinks about bad play calls, Mahomes does something else. Mahomes hides Reid's flaws. Dak wouldn't be able to do that. Lamar Jackson was correct MVP. Look at play on field, not stats/

In the old old days, certain players were known or respected as "Mr. Clutch-type" players. Drew Pearson and Lynn Swann come to mind. Staubach, Montana, Franco Harris are others. Even Stabler. They all played big in the big games. Then there are Dak-type players who can be counted on to play small in the big games. This is where owners should focus--getting those guys, not necessarily the regular season stat monsters.

Check the difference in running back play and defense between those 3 teams and you will get more of a clearer picture. The Cowboys are that much better when they have a good running game
Daks lack of arm talent is the reason he can't beat upper teams, good defenses don't fear his throwing of ball, the offense is restricted by him not being able to make certain throws consistently so teams just game plan around tht...
If dak would have won two more games last year then he would have won the MVP (Miami and Buffalo). Those two games cost him the MVP. Those two games this front running ass defense didn’t show up again. We seen what the team look like without Dak. It’s a 5 win team at best

Can’t remember a Dak moment in the playoffs?? I can… 2016 went toe-to-toe with Rodgers. Defense gave up 34 points at home. 2018 beat Seattle with a gritty performance, then lost bc his defense got ran all over by Gurley & CJ Anderson, gave up 30 points, but Dak still played well in that game. 2022, he SMOKED Brady and sent him into retirement. Dak has had plenty of big moments in the playoffs. I’m gonna say what I always say. Dak is a great QB but he’s not exceptional and he shouldn’t get any more money. He’s worth what he’s getting because the Cowboys consistently make it to the postseason but that’s where it ends.
