On net the Cowboys are likely worse than last year. 2024 FA spending: Eagles: $160M - Cowboys: $47M OL having 2 rookie starters is not "getting better"... at least on paper. Bringing back Zeke, instead of signing Derrick Henry doesn't make the RB crew better. Stating that they'll do "RB by committee" is an acknowledgement they did not get better. Signing DE Kneeland (rookie) is great and all.. but he has to show he can make the jump from a small-school division. Bottom line is no one can make the case that the Cowboys got better in the off-season.
Cowboys are handcuffed a bit. Signing CD, Dak, and eventually Micah will cost them between 120 and 130 million a yr. Salary cap is 258 million. Doesn't leave much for the rest of the team. You guys drafted well with those guys, now it's pay to stay
