Support Liverpool but this popped up on my feed. Having moved from Liverpool to North Yorkshire I know how he feels 😂 also, found a new favourite team to get behind when we’re not playing them of course. Hopefully, you lot will keep getting better and challenge for the top four consistently 👊🏻
This is why Bill needs to stay until he retires. Him and Wider are the connection between the club and the fans. Without them we are just like any other club.. propped up by millionaires with no personality.
French, German and Spanish to name but three European languages have formal and informal versions of "you" (for example the French "Tu and Vous"). English only has one form but I like to think Sheffielders have an informal version when we say "thee or thar (literally thou art) such as "gi oer thee or thar 'avin a laff etc. Welcome to Sheffield Sander owd son.
@@bobstevens9040 I support the Blades because it's something that we never saw in football, how Wilder uses the center backs and how everything is not what looks. Strikers make passes, midfielders make goals, it's quite a charismatic team. And in Spain i'm from Madrid and I've been living all my life here so Real Madrid, easy choice for me mate.
I'm a Yorkshireman! (Jórvík Vestr þriðjungr) Ek bjó fyrst á þorir. Yorkshire dialect was heavily influenced by old East Norse, for example "Ey Up" in Sweden is "Sey upp" and it actually means "look up" in both Sweden and in Yorkshire Dialect (Though most on Yorkshire think it means "Hello")
"chuddy' is 'chuggy' in Scottish dialect. I love that the UK has so much variations on the language. That makes it special for me. We need to try and not lose that to globalist politicians
Gee orr Pack it in When I was in America the kids were like quit it. I'd be like givv over, pack it in. Reyt ruff accent at times, but good stuff Billy. Tarraa
We sometimes say pack it in here in the US, but usually in a bit different situation. Like if you have been fishing for a long time, and not even had a bite, and you decide to quit. You might say "well, it's time to pack it in." Or in general if you've been waiting for something for a long time and it's time to give up.
I don't understand why he did not end up in a bigger club. He has so much talent often used as a cdm. But with awesome technique he is fast, good with the ball and he can have some amazing passes. He also adapt quick. But he seem to me a player that want the right club. Sevilla has tried to get him the past 3 windows. This guy is more a play for the badge guy than alot of money. He will stay in your club until you sell him guessing 2-3 season's and Klopp will buy him. He has already told him 2 times how impressed he is. I'm guessing he will be sold for 60-70 million euros or so. He will need 4-5 matches to get used to the epl.
I think Sander needs to learn Norwegian before he tries to learn Sheffield's dialect, the Norwegian word for an alley is "smug" pronounced with a long U - smuug
@@muratumbetkaliyev5411 might be at the family stand cus they do chips there, but not in the kop. Was a classic tea when it was just me and my dad home.
Like most words nesh has different meanings depending on the context in which it's being used. As well as describing glove wearers etc. It can also mean pulling out of a tackle when somebody is deliberately trying to snap your legs off. One of your team mates would shout "get stuck in yer nesh twat"
