This hymn is my most beautiful songs in the world and makes me feel so much closer to my ex-boyfriend Thomas Ellick who sadly pass away on 11/12/2010 and he died for 11 years and this hymn is my ex-boyfriend favourite song I have that song on his funeral and it's remines of him
As a church Chorister - I know how much that the ability to guide from a long dark and awkward tunnel and back into the light of hope is sorely required and needed. Aled Jones has led in that way - and I hope that I can help guide out of the new problems with Ukraine's invasion by Russia. That task falls on all choristers in Churches, Abbeys and Cathedrals in those to do so. I hope that I have the same belief and courage to do so. I came through a hospital operation not that long ago. I believe that there's an obligation to uphold. Aled Jones has that commitment - I pray I can rise to it. Too!

Beautiful! This isn't only a song but a prophetic message for this generation that lives in anxiety and worries of all kinds and don't ever learn who the Lord is and how to speak and listen to Him.
Absolutely stunning, I love Aled Jones, his One Voice albums are beautiful, listening to him doing duets with recordings of his younger self as a then soprano. Amazing...
As a fellow member of a Church Choir.. I find it very difficult to do so! As well! We make mistakes but we carry on with the duty of choristers regardless..

not really into hymns but I know this one. It was played for my grandfather who passed in 2017 at age 83 and this hymn was play as his final farewell at his funeral. It still make me grieve with saddness for I miss my grandfather so much for he died a good man and was loved by my family.
My late mum passed away in 2007 - and I still do miss her today. Kanefan701. I am a church chorister and I much prefer to sing than to deal with provoked difficulties. I like to think that she's now smiling at me. Thinking " He has listened and finally learned." I am keen on helping the traditions of Choral music in Churches, Abbey's and Cathedrals to go on. I've precious little interest in one of the worst imperfect industries - party politics. I'd rather deal with something that's a great deal more positive. That's why I am passionate about it.

29 Days ago I had a very bad Seisure, for a few seconds I died , but my Daughters friend applied CPR on me and bought me back to life. I will always Love My Daughters Friend for her incredible Gift to me, alongside the Ambulance Crew and the fantastic Doctors and the Hospital for their incredible Work on me, thank you I Love you all.
"Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near." We will go to one place or the other. Run to Him while you have breath. Cry, "God be merciful to me, the sinner!" That's how rotten we are. But He knows that and His Word tells us, "We love Him because He first loved us." As a minister once said, "FEELINGS ARE LIARS." Get a Bible, read it, pray over what you read, keep calling out to Him. He knows, He hears, He cares. Find a sound fellowship to worship and get support. "We walk by faith, not by sight."
