Well I decided to go in my boat drift netting for the flood. There were some anglers on the beach near the usual place I like to shoot the nets. We shoot the nets close, as they set off quickly on the flood, and will drift out and hit the buoy 3/4 mile off, so I motored a half mile further to the south, to keep out of their way, and away from the snags on the bottom. We shot one fleet close, and the other fleet straight away after the first fleet. We hauled the inside fleet 20 mins before the tide had finished, as they had gone around with the tide. We the shot them at slack water again to get the first of the ebb. We then had to run the outside fleet as there was a fair few fish in them. We then ran back to the other fleet and hauled them. Once back on the car park, we cleaned the nets for just over 21 stone of herring and a few whiting. I was happy with that, there usually isnt too many fish this time of year, and that was enough to hopefully keep the market price ok. Thanks for watching, if you could please press the subscibe button, I would be most grateful, thank you, James
