Beach fossils, diiv, Real Estate, craft spells kept me sane in college in the early 2010s. Coming back to these songs bring the days of my 20s and coming of adulthood. Oh how I miss it.

Niña del T.U.S que un día publicó si a alguien le gustaba beach fossils y puso este video, ese recuerdo me trae emociones fuertes, me transporta a esa época😢, me hace pensar en lo feliz que estaba, me hace sentir como si estuviera en ese momento, en ese mismo instante, en esos lindos momentos. Siento como si estuviera en ese momento. Pensando que ese era el presente y con la incertidumbre del futuro. Es como una catarsis.

see, i live in california now but am originally from texas. and i agree, this is very much a cali sound (or at least socal) -- you'll NEVER hear it in texas, unless you're lucky enough to live in austin(which is pretty much the san diego of texas anyway), and also happen to frequent the "indie" scene there. good music for good music's sake. no pretention or faux-machismo or holier-than-thou hipster attitude. love it.
