Hi! Kyle, Binignit is LIFE🙂 As a kid my late mother, on Good Friday, cooked as many as she can find different kind of vegetables, and Good Friday is the day my late father always looked forward to spend religiously. Binignit was always a snack, Yes it’s a lot more work if you prefer to cook with more ingredients; peeling & dicing the root crop (Gabi, camote, Ube) plus ripe saging saba, other items like tapioca, sweet rice balls, diced ripe jackfruit, other region have different options as well. I prefer to eat Binignit warm, some prefer it chilled. BTW, I am always touch by your kindness with other people. I grew up respecting human beings regardless of status, we siblings were brought up that way, and taught that way. We ate in the same table, the same food with my parents tenants, rice field/farm workers, household helpers etc. So, I can relate how you treat the people who work for you. God Bless You. 🙏🙂🇺🇸🇵🇭
I will say it right out, for those two crews that worked for, you Blaan and local boys, it must be an absolute pleasure and relief having an employer like yourself. I respect you bringing out the binignit (excuse spelling) to the lads. And in an earlier video, where some of them joined you and your crew at the table to eat, was a lovely touch. Very impressed with both engineers as well; very laid back, great company, and extremely talented. You chose very well here Kulas. I hope other future employers take inspiration in how to treat a trusted and respected work crew. And long live the blue truck and all who ride in it!!!
This is overwhelming! The love, joy, and people that are being connected because of you! You’re an inspiration Kulas and thank you for the love you share, your words are powerful and your smile!
BINGNIT in Bisaya and TAMBO-TAMBONG in Ilocano. I'm from ALAMINOS CITY, PANGASINAN, but I'm here in Davao City for a long vacation. Good luck Kulas to the next Videos. I'm a regular viewer. Hope I can see you soon before I go home. Ingat.

binigbit in Tagalog us ginataan made with coconut milk, sweet potatoes, Saba banana, gabi, jackfruit, and sago. Bilo bilo is made with coconut milk, glutinous sweet rice made in balls, jackfruit and sago or tapioca. They are both cooked the same way. By watching your vlog, now I’m thinking of making some. As always, Filipinos are so giving. Best regards and take care
In Bicol, we call it ginataan. It consists of coconut milk, combinations of sweet potatoes (yellow and purple), taro root, bananas, ripe jackfruit, tapioca or bilo bilo, cassava and palm sugar.
Happy Easter to you and your barkada! It must be very humbling when people see you as their friend and bring gifts for you. It just goes to show how grateful we are for what you are doing. We get so much from your vlogs, whether you realize it or not, and we truly appreciate you! Aloha! at Mabuhay! 🤙
Epitome of positivity! Even when reminding the public that you are a person who needs privacy. So respectful and gracious!!!!!! I love you all so much!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi again from Toronto, Canada .Love and enjoy watching you program.I was born in Manila and we call it ginataang halo halo my favorite. My husband has been cooking that since we came to Canada 52yrs.ago and has been a tradition We admire you so much and thankful Kulas for all the good work you have shared with all the Filipinos that you befriended.Kudos to you.Hopefully you'll stay and be a full pledged FILIPINO.
Cateel is so lucky that they have you in the neighborhood. That place will get more famous because of you and the barkada. Keep safe Kulas and ...you are almost hitting 1M subs. Happy to hear that. Watching from Riyadh.
Making binignit in Canada is very expensive Kyle. I cooked them only when sweet potatoes were cheap from California. The purple sweet potatoes from Hawaii and China are the most expensive one here in Canada. I will definitely cook them when we’re back to our place in Mabini. Yummy Binignit.
Happy Easter! I think your videos are BecomingBoring , gone are the days of exploring the crannies and the nooks of the Philippines . Cateel seems perfect for retirees and you are stuck there. Come on Kulas get the hell out of there and explore again. To start with, the Forester is the most perfect travel companion!
That hibiscus / gumamela is has a unique color kulas it could be more nice if they could multiply and bloom more flowers it will be amazing they had actually different colours of flowers its common in Philippines.
The Joy you bring to others is Addicting I am great-ful for the inspiration and the example you make to show others how kindness and taking the time for others is the best way to be and live!

Hi Kyle, in Pampanga we call Binignit , sampelot. There is saba banana, bilo2, kamote, langka. Those are the basic ingredients. Watching you from Richmond BC Canada , right now.
The tropical flower is called Hibiscus, Gumamela in Tagalog (also known as "the perfect flower"') which is commonly used in Biology class. Binignit in Tagalog is Ginataang halo-halo. Ginataang bilo-bilo is just glutinous rice, coconut milk and sugar, with pandan leaves (optional) for it's aroma. It's good to see how people in the Philippines haven't changed for being so hospitable and friendly. I miss being in the province! Mabuhay ka Kulas! Kudos to the "gang"! ; ) : )
If i remember right in Dumaguete city..we call it dinuldog. Btw you said your place is not a resort but its a must place to visit when in Cateel.. the Home of Becoming Filipino..Kulas!
Nice bayong. Expensive yan pagnakadisplay na sa mall. Happy Easter to all Kulas viewers! Happy eating binignit. I like tha saucy one with langka. You can mix or top binignit with kalamansi peel for added fragrance. Add it just before turning the fire off. Lami.
Hello! at 11:50 of this video my grandson Seth, daughter in law Mhai and her family from Davao City were there. Thank you so much, they were happy to have met you. 🥰
Bilo bilo is the name in our province..glutinous flour mix with water then you make cicles small..you can put saging saba,LANGKA,SAGO,add some panda leaves for the good smell..oh no mouth watering now..binignit bilo bilo is da best

Hello #BecomingFilipino, Binignit is yummier when you eat it with "bulad"😋❤Very nice life in Cateel 😉 You'll always feel the love & attention from the people around you😊Be safe😊
Sa Iloilo, LINUGAW ang tawag sa binignit. Powdered glutinous rice, sugar and coconut milk are the main ingredients. Can be cooked with other ingredients like, saging na saba, tapioca pearls, young coconut meat, ube, sweet potato etc. In our place, it is usually cooked for birthdays.
Hi Kulas, Our province in Pampanga we call it either “Paralusdus” or “Sampelot”. My mom or grandma would make this for our merienda, or afternoon snack between lunch and dinner. It’s so good! 😘👍🏻👌
Happy Easter Sunday Kulas, K. Daot, Jandee to all of you guys! Nwei, in Pampangga Binignit is also called as SAMPELOT. My sister cooked Binignit last Holy Friday..If you were only near our place we will share our Binignits to you guys! Nwei, I'm a silent subsccriber here from Sto.Nino Meycauayan, Bulacan. Keep on inspiring at posting positive things on your vlogs. God Bless you abundantly KULAS!!!🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
That's dual color Hibiscus(Gumamela) Beautiful🌺🌺🌺🌺Like a dual color rose too! It's called Binignit where you're at, it's Ginatan in Talagalog, in Boracay it's Langkuga.
here in Manila we call it Ginataang halo halo, one of the tastiest daily afternoon snack (meryenda). It has varieties like ginataang mais at ginataang kamoteng kahoy. Man they taste so good too !
When the binignit gets cold it taste like ice cream. Expensive than ice cream because of the ingredients it's mahal when you bought it in the city especially during the holy week, idk in the province it is easy to make.
First time subscriber here I would say this video content creator has a positive vibes I really appreciate and love the whole video, Happy Easter Sunday Kulas
Landang is in southern Cebu and the southern Negros Oriental..Cebuano Binisiya in south of Cebu is more pure than the City and the Binisaya-Cebuano of Mindanao.
