Beach Metal Detecting Crete - 4 Coil Air Test for Depth COILTEK on X-Terra Pro ! An air test with 4 different coils with the X-Terra Pro from Minelab ! Minelab.gr
Cool thanks i baught an xterra pro coil was bad didnt want to drive two hours so i put my nox 800 coil on there. and wow very impressed with it in the test garden probly buy a 6in for snorkeling your test made my day Good luck to you 👊
Maybe if Maybe only by 2 centimeters more on the 15 inch Coiltek not less but still it’s an air test which is different when you are on the sand you should do your own test so you can see for yourself Goodluck I did my best & I don’t usually do these test ….but the XTP goes deep for entry level machine thanks for watching🙏 🏖💙🇬🇷👍
@@RawdanmdAnmad-no7ps the 15inch Coiltek is the best and very sensitive on small gold and it goes about 52cm on a gold ring which is amazing trust me you have to have one in the winter I only use the 15inch coil even if it is heavy it goes deep and finds targets other coils don’t 💙🏖🇬🇷💪
@@beachmetaldetectingcrete I have the X-Terra Pro and the ground is very dry and I have been doing 12 for the sensitivity and still getting Targets that are in the 6-8 inches but it's too dry to dig up and then the jumpy VDI is now doing it for the Junk Target's and now getting the solid Tone's for the great targets and ALOT of User Error and Everytime I changed it to what I thought it would work better but it doesn't and 1 setting I have a iron grunt for Junk Target and I changed it and Now that Bad Target is giving me a good target Tone and I know that it's a JUNK target and again this is User Error with the X-Terra Pro and No updates are needed to Fix the X-Terra Pro, just like anything new you have to go through it and try it out.....
@@carolrice2063Try doing a factory reset on it then adjust your sensitivity at about 21 do a air test every time you turn it on and if your struggling with EMI signals ground balance it. I only use it on the beach so I can only advise you in those conditions but yes the VDI is unstable at times I would use 2 tones so you don’t listen to more then 2 sounds and distinguish good from bad of course you will dig lots of rubbish unfortunately this machine is a dig everything machine. Use the machine in easy areas like grassy parks sandy beach’s etc or invest in a sharp small digging shovel to cut through the dry hard ground. If you find the machine is malfunctioning or your not happy with it take it back to the place of purchase & upgrade to a Nox 600 eventually you will need to upgrade the nox will be a bigger learning curve but the VDI numbers will be more stable and you could always look for a used 600. Time & persistence the more hunts you do there better you will understand the tones…..the depth is good and even when you lower sensitivity on XTP it still punches deep I have noticed that as well anyway GL&HH 💙🏖🇬🇷👍
@@beachmetaldetectingcrete what are you talking about ?????? The only problem with the X-Terra Pro is not having enough time with it and Again the EMI Problem's are with the Simplex + and you can't change the Tone's on it and Actually I have Quit Using it because of the EMI Problem's and I just got the X-Terra Pro and I have sent a email to Notka Macro Product's and They replied with we have no more Updates for it and We are coming out with a New Simplex lineup of Detectors that may solve the problem that your having and send a video of the Simplex + problem to the tech center and possibly the whole detector if possible and I'm not going to, But as far as the X-Terra Pro, I'm not having any kind of Problem's with it and I understand the jumpy VDI and it's a great feature to have when you get a target that is JUNK and when I get to a Coin target it's solid but people are claiming that it's not a good thing but I ❤️ it and will be going with Minelab Detector's and eventually get more Detectors coming from Minelab but I'm not in a hurry and I may not need to get another Detector cause I understand this one and it's my first Minelab and I have only had it for a week now and only about 3 hours of Use and I don't see any problems with the jumpy VDI and I just lower the sensitivity like you do on any kind of detector ever made and I know my numbers that I'm looking for and No need for a factory reset but something needs to be done for the Simplex + and anything else to the Notka Macro Brand and I have just watched a video of a guy that has the New Simplex Ultra and the noises it makes At the Salt Water Beach and They are selling it to the people that maybe next time we can get it figured out But Buy this new Detectors Simplex Ultra and others and hopefully you can get it figured out for us But The Minelab Company has already done it and I have watched Calabash with it At the beach and never heard anything from the detector and the salt water 💦, but I'm not having any kind of problem with the X-Terra Pro......
@@beachmetaldetectingcrete And I have over 50 years of Detecting and thanks for the advice anyway and not struggling with the X-Terra Pro At All just enjoying All the New Features that are not with the Simplex + and the Simplex was very easy to get figured out but the Tone's are not good for anyone to listen to All Day and you still hear them At night when you're trying to get some sleep and they're too high pitched for the Simplex + and All the Notka Macro Product's...... and my ears and hopefully they will recover but I love my Minelab X-TERRA Pro......
I don’t understand what your talking about, the Coiltek Coils go deepest that’s the bottom line and the 15inch punch’s deepest then any other coil. The 11 inch standard Equinox coil is second best. I did my best to get the measurements as good as I could to try help anyone that’s interested in using other coils I’m sorry your not happy but remember air test are never as accurate as in the ground or sand and there so many factors that determines the target accuracy. Thanks for your lovely feed back J we know who you are GL & GF 😉🇬🇷🏖💙👊
