Ginger, I did one of your Tuscan windows with the flower pots but I used my own colors ... I can't tell you how nice it came out for being my first one. I always wanted to do one and thought I could never do that well, I'm shocked on how it came out and I did it last night now looking for another beach scene to do I've done some but not very happy on how they came out ..but I think since my painting skills have gotten so much better from practicing that now I can do it with no problem I've been at it for about 3 years now and I'm finally finishing my paintings now

I hope yall have a great trip!! I love your ocean paintings, i finally ordered a ruby satin silver angle brush, cant wait to try it out, i have been waiting on it and got sick several days ago then broke out in a painful rash... Hi Ginger, the Fluid Acrylic paint you used at 17:10min, I see you used Titanium White, why did you switch to fluid acrylic paint for this shadow? Love your videos so much! Really learning a lot from you! Thank you so much for sharing them!

I switched to fluid white for a thinner layer of paint.but water and titanium would have worked too.

Gillian Foran yellow oxide, ultramarine blue, pthalo blue, cad red medium, dioxazine purple, burnt umber, burnt sienna, raw umber, titanium white, transparent mixing white ...and maybe cad yellow medium, yellow ochre... also fluid acrylic titanium white

CAD RED medium... it is a color that I use in all my paintings.

The Art Sherpa answered a question about textured paintings, but didn't explain. What do they mean by "textured"? The question was in reference to the sand in her beached boat picture. Would you sprinkle actual sand on wet paint? ??

well you can buy a get with texture in it. like coarse resin sand texture from Golden. and when it tries its like a sandy textured rough finish that gives the painting a sore of three dimensional look.
