Love this video! I felt like I was actually walking with you on that beautiful beach. Not much social distancing I see. Are many people wearing masks in stores or on the sidewalks?
My state: KY. Just issued a travel advisory for Myrtle. I have reservations in October and I hope things get better, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Stay safe, my man.
I'd say Broadway as a whole is about 60-70%. The daytime crowd isn't too much different than last year, although there are a good number of places closed and the entire corner where the theater and mini golf course used to be is an idle construction site. Night time is a different story. Things drop off sharply by 9 or 10. Most restaurants seem to close their kitchens earlier than normal for this time of year. I think Oz is still closed (it will always be Revolutions aka "Revos" to me). Parking lots around "The Avenue" (read: Celebrity Square) are pretty sparse by 9pm. Anything that is open late is jam packed. Crocodile Rocks is an example. They were running full throttle late into the night when I was there 2 weekends ago. Elbow to arsehole. Early 20-somethings sharing drinks. Not a germ collecting mask in sight.
