This video is about beaches in the area called Governador Celso Ramos which is located in the state of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil. This area is close to Florianopolis but is calmer and less expensive. The video focuses on three beaches, two which are very busy and one which is nearly deserted. I hope you enjoy it.

Hey I’ve been watching your videos lately and I am interested in purchasing a property near Floripa but I am so nervous about the process since I am American ! I would like to eventually retire in Brazil and figured now would be a good time to invest in a home atleast…

Hi, moving to Brazil was the best decision that I have ever made. I too felt a bit nervous about moving and buying a property. I rented at the beginning in order to get to know the place better before buying. Also I would recommend that you get a lawyer to help with the property checks and paperwork to give you more piece of mind. Floripa is a great place

Hi. We recently moved to Brazil and are currently in Parana. We're looking for a long term base by the beach in Santa Catarina. Could you give any recommendations please for a few nice beachside towns in SC which are clean, safe, with decent facilities as we get older and are not ridiculously expensive? Thanks

Some nice beachside towns which are less expensive in SC are Penha, Porto Belo, Palhoça, Garopaba, Governador celso ramos.
