Back down the beach after a terrible couple of weeks weather, luckily the sea had left me some treasures to find. #beachcombing #metaldetecting #beach #beachcombingfinds #beachtreasures #beachfossils #rockhounding #beachcomber
What wonderful finds on the beach. I have never seen flint like that before huge piece. I’ve seen flint from American Indians they made arrowheads out of and spears. I always enjoy your finds of wood fossils and of course bone fossils. The driftwood was cool and the piece of tree looked like an animal of some kind. 😂😂😂 Fun beach combing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hope you’re keeping well Susan, do you not get much flint in America? Was so happy to actually find something for a change, that driftwood is cool tho i agree. 🩷🩷🩷
You know we probably do get flint, but I’ve never seen it in person. I will have to research to see later. Taking my son for a checkup today. Thanks for getting back to me 😉 You guys are the best!
I remember suggesting this when you found a previous large chunk of squared-off flint, but I wonder if they're building stones from an old building that collapsed into the sea.
Could very well be, that bit of flint come from a way away from the village tho and the stuff that washes put of the car park was all the rubble left from clearing the bombed houses up from the village after the war! Very interesting tho
Some interesting finds there. Have you ever found clay pipe stems or bowls on the beach? I was in Scratby a couple of weeks ago & found a pipe bowl which was a bit of a surprise.
Sorry Connor,Sunday is a bit difficult sometimes for me to catch you, that is a strange piece of flint beach worn lovely colour as well and maybe had faults and the action of the sea caused it ,no I haven’t seen that before either .Nice finds today and no Kerry 🤔
