That went much easier for you. I had a hell of a time getting the rear tire bead to break.

I bought the Chinese knock-off copy of these in steel for $35 USD for the short set. Have not tried but they look identical to the originals in shape and design. I can't imagine they they would not work just as well although perhaps a bit heavier than the aluminum version.

Cool, steel should be better all around, just the weight difference witch most likely doesn’t matter that much

Hey Ray, how and where do I find the knock-off?

Good advice. The Vevor product is excellent - currently at about $30 USD

Hi, I have the two models of this brand, the large ones in steel for the 40 cm workshop and those in aluminum for traveling + a small one in steel. depending on the tire you have fitted for example, a MITAS 09 DAKKAR, you will not be able to remove it with the aluminum BEADPROs. (it's good when traveling so as not to weigh yourself down and carry out a repair on your inner tube "stick a patch or change the inner tube") When I go on a motorcycle trip, I have about 3 to 4 kg of 'tools. difficult to carry you less. For the workshop I have 4 tire changers and a cheap stripper. goodbye

Next time, spray the tire with some soapy water. You just have to break the bead at one point and can to the rest by hand by pushing down. You overcomplicated it..

I do that now days 🤪

I always break the bead with the side stand, easy-squeezy.

Yep, a smart way for sure

How do you use the side stand when you take the rear or front wheel off?

@@lenartperko1107 you can't 😂

I always walk around the wheel and break the bead with my heel.

Sure works on TT, but TL tires can be a bitch to break the bead on. But side stand works 🤪

The Motion Pro product is excellent - but way overpriced. You can pick up the identical Vevor version for less than half the price.

What I have and they have worked just fine.

the small ones are waste of money.

Haven’t tested larger than these, but for sure you will have much better leverage. This worked better than normal leavers for popping the bead, but that’s a given. Prying off the tire, not so much 🤪
