Sometimes those darned little peyote tube toggle bars try to bend on you and make your clasp a little too loose. No problem! We can fix that! Here's how.... For more kits and supplies check out shop.jillwisemandesigns.com/
I use a long bugle bead. That not only firms the toggle, but the hole in the middle works great for putting your needle back and forth to embellish the ends! :0)
OMG Jill I just received your beautiful book, its much more than I ever dreamed. My only problem is I can't decide what to make first. So much was put into the details in this book, sooooooo happy. Thank you so much. Kim. PS this is a great tip for the toggle. lol.
Great idea!! I haven't made one yet but I've always wondered how stiff a toggle bar would be and I've been kicking around in my brain how to do that! Thanks!!!
I have been using a cut off pop rivet slid through (12 delica around) with a dot of acetate cement fast drying glue each end. This also works for the long toggles.
really a wonderful tip. I have a tip for you, you probably already know. sometimes I will glue eyelets on the end of these and use them as a large hole bead. can you please tell me the name brand of the beads you use. I love them
Great tip about the paperclip. I love the fringed necklace you are wearing. The green really pops against your purple blouse. Share the tutorial on that piece?
