BeamNG Is Now Assetto Corsa, No Hesi - Tutorial 

A few people were asking about FPS drops. I can suggest one thing, assuming you have already set your graphics settings quite low, although I have realized that my video may have been a little misleading. What I should have said was: Set your graphical settings to a place where your game is still playable, and not having a really low FPS. If this doesn't work then If you open your level editor (F11) then search "thelevelinfo" in scene tree (left hand side of screen) and then you will see the tab on the right hand side of your screen. Here there will be a section called "Visibility" if you set the visible distance to a lower number, (I think on my old PC i used around 300, if it's too low, as it is quite low just increase it, until you find the right value for you :D). This will improve your FPS a decent amount (hopefully). Unfortunately beamNGs AI is almost purely CPU based, due to CPU doing complex mathematical calculations that can't be done on a GPU even on high end products. beamNG is probably the only driving game you can turn into another driving game. anything from NFS to a cross country trucker game to a flight sim to whatever you wanna do with a speed boat

Previously I was upset about default traffic settings. There were just not enough cars to feel like I drive through a live city. Now, finally, I can give up on GTA IV with is clunky crash physics ant traffic and really enjoy this dangerous ride where any mistake can be the last one. Thanks, dude. Godspeed.

We're getting so close to a Tokyo Xtreme Racer 4 in BeamNG. I'd do unspeakable things for a new TXR game in 2024+, and that this is all coming together so nicely makes me really excited for the future of BeamNG.

This got me smiling from ear to ear. After coming from hours upon hours modding assetto corsa found it to be tiring and tedious. When I found beamng to be the easiest to Mod. Now I can play no hesi with beautiful crashing physics. Now just more cars that’s in no hesi should come to beamng mods

I got this map mod too, even if you cruise and "abide" traffic rules, it's so much fun to loop around. Because of the vast length of the map, it never quite feels like you're in a loop. Driving anything from Truck & trailer combo's to touringcar busses or motorbikes, it's seriously a must-have map mod, also because you can take exits and turn off or on, switch directions whilst still going "forwards". People with high end PC's will enjoy it even more, cruising in real-time at dawn or sunrise is something I would recommend doing too! Dawn is my favorite, especially after entering the longer tunneled sections and you come out the opposite side in a starry night sky with the subtle hue of sunset still at the distant horizon. If the devs read this, I really hope you can model something similar and allow us to traverse for miles in our favorite vehicles! ❤

I love how some years ago people used to play beam ng mostly to get a car and jump of a mountain or something, now we got hyper realistic physics and hella of a good graphics, I love how this game ages so well

beamng is the future and its here, society just isnt ready for it yet

I had been holding off on getting BeamNG until it went on sale (I have not paid full price for a PC game in over 20 years). But it never goes on sale! So I got Steam gift cards for my birthday in March and instantly bought it. No this just adds to the fun of it, and I need to get this ASAP. My go to uses to be AC with mods, but I went through a few months of PC troubleshooting, where I wiped it clean twice, and the AC mods were not working properly (some not at all), so I uninstalled AC and gave up on it for a while. (Been racing a lot of Dirt Rally 2 and Dirt 4.) But this mod could definitely make BeamNG a new favorite!

Need there to be more traffic but honestly this feels pretty great already IMO!

I’ve been playing a lot of beamng after playing a lot of nohesi and it has been so much better. There’s something about this game that feels so real on my wheel. Like the thrill is gone from ac but I get a thrill in beamng.

With that camera mod and the newest crash camera, it can be basically a L.A Rush remake. We need that crash camera sound now as a mod 😂

beamng might literally be the best racing game within a sandbox game 💀 nearly 1/1 accuracy on driving and car crashes which almost no other games can replicate

You can do this exact same thing on nurburgring map (or any track map) to simulate one of those open track days they have. You can choose what class of cars spawn too and up the risk/speed to make them drive fast like a track day

American Truck Simulator is also pretty good to race thru traffic with the traffic density mod, and you can also get any car you want too from mods for something similar like this.

Hey thanks for this! I make movies in beam (i dont upload bc copyright music). Ive always been using script ai manager and manually creating traffic. This cuts that work out for movies that take place in present day. Sadly we still do not have the option to only spawn of a certain vintage. Thank you!

set it to night and set the weather to foggy and you have night runners also make sure to set the traffic to a very low amount and use like boring white cars for them, and of course, blast dazegxd music at full volume the entire time

I built my PC around this game lol. 32 GB ram, 7600xt, 5900x. I finally can run high settings high framerate 1440p with traffic on all maps.

Would love if google maps could be tied into this game.. select your destination and press start. Using the GPS, see if you can make it across town quicker.. or drug runner mode.. basically same thing but cops in the mix.

sweet video, ive just been spawning in ai traffic on the maps without adjusting their settings. can you help me figure out why my roads are just blank whiteness on this map? otherwise i love it, and it never had that issue before this latest update.

@Zentoa, can you give me your specs? Im running off a 3 year old Legion laptop with Windows 10, An RTX 3050 TI laptop (4GB), a AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 8/16, and 24gb of ram. My BeamNG game runs around 50 to 60 fps so do you think the traffic with the new update will tank my fps?

You can add UI panel and edit mod camera behaviour. Tweak it a bit and you can get rid of that Y-Axis Shake

After playing AC,Forza5,Beam, I really do think BeamNG is more like a sim then any other game/sim out there, couple it with Automation and its a winner.

Ive been using beam as a truck simulator for years. Nothing is even close, I can accurately model weight, and mechanics in this. Ive made mods, maps, currently working on a full suite of 4kHD Truck, trailers right now, followed by heavy machinery. Trying to also work on some logging road maps, detailed mountain construction sites, etc.

Hey so how can i improve my FPS? I normally play on high settings in normal beamng maps like west coast freeroam with 130+FPS but with traffic on this map im getting less than 40 fps, any tips? I lowered my graphics to normal

When they make some pavement and tire physics, unreal engine 5.4 graphics it would be perfect. real Ai driving for each car, maybe some cops, nfs like tuning :D

beamng traffic ai as it is in 0.32.1 just loves switching lanes infront of me right as i pull up to them or otherwise acting strangely It's been really really annoying to go on any highway area in maps because you will just sit in traffic

Could you use the police traffic as well? Or only (normal) traffic?

I'm not sure how to go about the installation of the map mod, I dropped the file into the local mods folder and its in my mod manager, but theres just no map there when I look for it in the menu

what would say is the miniimum gpu and CPU combo to achieve this no hesi map with good graphics and details along with above 60 fps?

get the extra tire grip mod, and u can type in exactly how much grip u want so ur not driving on ice, makes cutting mad fun like irl

press alt+u to remove ui makes it look much cleaner

spawn rate is no longer on the ui app... Any site of it elsewhere? my traffic is very spread out. I have plenty of resources just can't seem to get enough cars to spawn.

if only beamng could do rendering right. the graphics looks all sorts of fuzzy even though the graphics are cranked up
