I heard "this is amazing" from behind the camera, what really is amazing is the whip the trainer was holding, the collar the bear was pulled by around its neck, and the brace it had around its mouth.
Amazing and sad at the same time, I hope those bears are happy, I have no reason to think they are not happy but you never know how they were trained, I hope they were trained in a loving home that feeds them and gives them the care they need.
Beautiful and Extraordinary WORK OF THE ART OF CIRCUS . Bears and humans so closely and friendly and happily working together, A Quality Show. Excellent entertainement. ARTIST BEARS: I also like the music. A funny and MAGIC atmosphere!!!.
There isn't fear involved. They want to gain the approval, and attention (bears really love attention, by the way) of their friend- the human. Animals can emotionally connect to us just like we connect to them. After all humans are another type of animal- we are all animals on this planet. They can perceive us as being like them as well as vice versa.
I will have to disagree with you there. Most animals who are treated badly are very skittish around people, & these guys are very confident. Plus the bears still have their claws intact (instead of having then cut out) and they are wearing muzzles instead of having a rope threaded through a hole in their nose like the dancing bears is India have. So the bears have not alterations to their bodies and are given frequent treats by the handlers we watch here. I'm sure they are treated very well.
At 3:09 - 3:11 the stupid guy hit the bear. Honest to god, this makes me cry. These animals don't deserve to live in places like this! They deserve to be free and not be dressed up and be told to do these tricks. These animals suffer and they may look like they're having "fun" but what happens before and after the show to these poor animals is atrocious!
Guys, this isn't necessarily abuse. Especially from the bear's perspective. Just because you see a bear outside of "natural habitat"- where they die young and live their lives afraid of other bears- doesn't mean the bear isn't living a happy and fulfilled life. Humans aren't evil, other creatures like to feel connected with us. When will you get it through your thick heads? Preserve the human-animal bond!!!
People against this have probably never worked with animals. If the animal was not happy it would not be performing. You don't train animals like this by beating them, you can clearly see him rewarding each trick with a treat.
Everyone is calling this cruelty but in my opinion its the same as having a dog trained. Dogs were once wild animals until domesticated. Hell for all we know in 100 years bears may be the new backyard pet.
People think circus animals are doing this stuff for treats... But no....if anyone knew the abuse behind the training you would never go to a circus again!!
The animals ARE NOT HAPPY, they have to be in his live native, it is neither education nor entertainment, to have to the animals in captivity the mistreatment
OlegTabakov Domestic dogs, cats doesn't exist in nature. Human breed them over thousands and thousands of years. Like pigs and cows, these are not real wild pig and wild cows.
PS: On my channel I feature PAWS. We are trying to educate people that circus's and Sea Aquariums can have better attractions than Performing Animals. They can focus on rehabilitation/ecology rather than torturing animals to do stupid tricks. Circus's do not need lions and elephants. You may want to see these animals stories and the life they lead now in their open habitats after years of captivity, illness and loneliness.
It's an act, animals are fed less for motivation. if there was torture motivation, the same motivation should be applied during show. And from looks of it, animals do not look like some skinny models of our own
You need to educate yourself. Wild animals are tortured and/or starved in order to learn these unnatural tricks. Models decide to eat very little on their own. Nobody forces them.
iHelloway & you know this how? from watching a video? food, water, sleep, is withheld so the animals obey, if not they will be beaten. bears usually have their teeth & claws removed a rope is forced through their snout & is pulled on to manipulate the bear. elephants, are put through a "crush" or a breaking of their spirit they are put in a tiny crush cage unable to move, lie down, sleep, or even lift their head they are beaten repeatedly my numerous mahouts all at once this goes on for weeks, sometimes longer. they are terrified by the bullhook that's why you also see the ring leader next to the elephants face so the elephant knows if he does not do as told he will pay for it later. they also use black shoe polish or something of that nature to cover up the scars & marks from the chains they wear when not working. One other thing you won't notice unless you look for it is they also have a pin, or nail in their hand that they use to poke the paper thin skin behind their ears. This is what you are seeing when the mahout is guiding the elephant by the ear, they are in fact poking the elephant. type in ringling bros circus abuse or even circus abuse. it is very sad & horrific to watch
The show? Have you seen them being beaten at training? You're ignorant! They're absolutely beaten & they're always killing the monkeys, trainers & they're kept in tiny cages. Educate yourself on circuses
... if a bear mauls a human, more measly humans come to beat him up? Bears are much stronger than you would imagine. These bears are well cared for. They are not skittish (which they would be if they were beaten) and they still have all their claws and teeth (hence the muzzles) Plus they are very healthy looking. I want you to research (here on youtube) "dancing bears of India" and "Bear farms in Asia". These circus bears are treated very well, please do your research before commenting.
no, the animals get trained from baby stage and learn to do stunts with food rewarding remember that a tiger is a predator animal if they were beating him up he would eventually rebel and attack the trainers now thanks for watching a very interesting art called THE CIRCUS!
No, that's not what I said RockO. I stated that "A few BRIEF searches revealed that at least SOME of these circus animals are being abused." Here is one video from Ringly Bros.... watch?v=VuECQep8EYQ Clearly these elephants are being conditioned through aversive stimuli. Watch all 3 parts and understand their nature, then decide for yourself. I'm not going to argue with you about it. There's no reason to believe the circumstances and psychological manipulations differ with other animals.
WOW THIS IS SO COOL!!! I GUESS DEPRIVING WATER AND FOOD TO THIS BEAR AND REPEATEDLY WHIPPING THE ANIMAL DOES THE TRICK! WHAT A VERY COOL WAY TO TEACH THIS AMAZING BEAR SOME TRICKS THAT ONLY HUMAN AUDIENCE UNDERSTANDS.
Those poor animals, I can't even imagine the hell they must have gone though to be performing like that. They belong in the wild. They have been made to look ridiculous. I realize these people need to make a living but please not a the expense of these beautiful creatures. Please don't support circuses with animals.
They were able to get humans to work in the fields for no pay, broke up families, sold children, etc for millinea with FEW (note that I did not say "none") major revolts relative to how long it had been going on. To think you can't make animals do the same is preposterous.
Noooo my poor parrots I absolutely love them and I hated seeing people do this I mean really the training abuse gone into this is just depressing #savetheparrots
Wow no one knows how many beatings this bear must get and woah the clothes that would have took at least 50 beatings with a whip and a muzzler zthese clowns may be funny but outside the circus they are cruel, cruel men not some but most
Sorry folks, there is no sign for wrong treatment of animals in this video. Open your eyes and use your own intelligence to decide instead of false propaganda: No animal is mistreated, they just receive rewards for their tricks. Bears are naturally very good and talented in balancing, they are just doing what they are good at.
You are asking why? Seriously? Do you know what these animals are going through to get trained like this? A bear is a wild animal that is not meant to entertain humans in a circus tent. These bears get beaten and in romania they even let them stand on hot plates to train them dancing. Bears belong into the wild, in the forest, where they belong to. This is horrific abuse and everyone who pays to see such things is part of the problem and should be ashamed.
Debbie, SADLY there are many adults who still don't realize this, either. Ringling Brothers (who recently thankfully closed) had a Facebook page where dozens of adult people, often PARENTS, commented they visited the show and it was evident how much the elephants "enjoyed" their performances. I was shocked about how deluded grown adults can be. Really sad and frustrating.
no because they are trained with muzzles on their face and are probally scared to because people would shock them. They are trained with a shock point rod that if they go to attack they get shocked and sometimes whiped with whips.
@@tuttasalonen7035 I made this comment 7 years ago and of course it should be saved dummy. Just because I didn’t say that doesn’t mean I think otherwise. Move on
I don't give a fuck if this offends anyone, I've always wanted to see a circus bear and your little cry baby comments aren't going to stop people. Animal cruelty is horrible and shouldn't exists, but just like that juicy steak in front of you, that cow is already dead, and these animals are already trained.
wow, the first 2 seconds of this video. Watching whales jump out of water is one thing, but MAKE A BEAR LITERALLY ACT LIKE A HUMAN?! Not only do I find that abusive it's not even entertaining. It's FAR more entertaining to watch them in the wild.
IDIOTS IM CRYING RIGHT NOW THAT BEAR USED TO LIVE WITH HIS FAMILY UNTIL THEY TOOK HIM AWAY AND STARTED FORCING HIM AND WHIPPING HIM TO DO THINGS IT IS CRUEL AND THAT IS WHY I HAVE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR REAL MY FRIEND WILL BE HELPING TOO AND YOU SHOULD NOT ONLY COMMENT AND SAY THAT'S CRUEL YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING
Despite how the bears were trained, they are deprived of everything and anything natural for their species. Imagine their enclosures and the stress they endure being on the road.
Wait, do you guys also think it's wrong to teach a dog tricks? My dog was very happy to learn tricks....sit, shake, speak etc....no beatings required!! If you understand animals you can tell these animals aren't necessarily sad. They just don't wag their tail to tell you otherwise like a dog. To me they are not showing signs of fear or sadness. They are being trained with positive reinforcement (treats). There's no whip. They have a stick as a guide. My dogs like doing tricks for treats and are never beaten. Don't jump to conclusions. This probably took lots and lots of hard work for both human and animal. 🤷
No-no. The bears are very well treated: they got good fish after every action. Do you understand? They are working for food. The bears are working for food. But they must be paid at the moment, on the stage, during work. But they wan't a really lot of fish, and out of the stage they are happy with some sugar bread, too. They are more-more efficient as even the chinese workers! :-)
Although I saw him several times give the bears treats as positive re-enforcement, I hate to think what happens behind the scenes, and those poor ponies, the side reins were way to tight & the bits were making the ponies smile & chomp the bits too much! Don't get me started on the use of lunge whips. That trainer needs a chat with Pat Parelli and to get those poor animals put into a sanctuary
I dont know what is worse or better. Rodeo riding and the show with bulls with the guy dressed up taunting the bull while they chase the red towel, or this. With this the animals and humans have mutual cooperation, even friendship but I hear the animals spend their off time in cages (or am i wrong on the cage part?). In the rodeo it is competition and I suppose the bulls are angry and not fond of the riders, wanting to get them off their backs, but they spend time with other cattle in their off time.
Why does everyone thing that it takes Beating to train circus animals?!? Do you beat your dog to teach it tricks? NO! Stop believing everything that the corny 80's cartoons tells you about circus animals. My gosh, look at the bears! observe them! They have healthy coats, they are confident (a sign of NOT being beaten or scared), and they still have all their claws & teeth under the muzzles. Go look up India's dancing bears and Chinese bear farms - THOSE are horrendously tortured bears.
